MAC @ wem is a beautiful store with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The products are fantastic, no question.Listen, I do not have high expectations at any store in a large mall because I understand that these women, men, girls and boys working here are not paid much for their efforts and are often short staffed, over worked and/or dealing with ignorant/annoying customers. So when I see other 1 sentence reviews about poor service, I don’t listen and I go see for myself. I recommend you do the same.MAC has a “recycling program” whereby if you return 6 empty containers, you can get a free regular collection lipstick, lipgloss or eyeshadow! Amazing right? So I recently stopped in this store, at 1 hour before closing time, to get free lipsticks. There was only a few people working but I was helped right away and she spent about 40 minutes with me to select the colour, formula type, explaining differences etc. I went in for free stuff but was feeling so good with the service I bought concealer too :)So bottom line, I would highly recommend this store and it’s products.

I wish I had caught her name but I went in with my boyfriend December 4th (pretty close to closing time) and she was so helpful ! She did not rush me whatsoever and answered my millions of questions. I ended up essentially buying a new face of makeup. She was so knowledgeable and really made me feel more confident with doing my own makeup. Thank you so much!!

I came to get my makeup done for my birthday and let me tell you (pretend to hear me clap between these sentences) Kendel was everything I could have wanted and more. She is a goddess! So knowledgeable and talented ! She listened to me, suggested colour appropriate alternatives and truly showed talent and professionalism. Not only did I walk away feeling incredible, but she taught me techniques along the way that I had no idea about. The whole team was great! I felt like I was at brunch with girlfriends, with perfect makeup after! Absolutely adore this team and will be back again! Cannot recommend enough!

I visited MAC Wednesday, March 20, and was greeted immediately upon entering the store. I was getting a half hour makeup application done for my grad photos. Lindsay was the artist doing my makeup, and I really enjoyed how she explained what she was doing, and after applying some makeup such as the eyeshadow, she checked in with me and asked if it was too dark or light. The experience was great since Lindsay ensured I was happy with each application. She also did a great job and was able to replicate the look with the photos I provided.Additionally, I purchased a really fantastic under eye concealer. I have never used such an awesome concealer: with a bit of powder, it doesn't crease and looks good after 10+ hours of wear!Overall it was a great experience at MAC and I will return! Thanks Lindsay!

Way to busy to only have 2 workers. I went in to drop off my 6 empties and grab a lipstick and was waiting for help over 30 mins. No one asked if we needed help. Eventually I kinda figured I wouldn’t be getting the help to grab the lipstick so I went and waited at the till since no one was in line. Then one of the workers proceeded to grab some customers off the floor and bring them to the till and said “I’ll help you on this till” even though I was already standing at the till for 10 mins waiting to be helped and the other customers weren’t even in line. So I went myself and dug through their drawers looking for the lipstick myself. Then went back to the line and the same girl proceeded to help other customers instead of myself. Terrible customer service. I would suggest if you want to buy products from Mac to just go to the Sephora in the mall, at least you will get the customer service there.
