I love this winery. Expensive but very high-quality. Really nice staff friendly and well trained exceptionally interesting building and story behind the Vineyard. Probably the best Rieslings and near best Pinots in the interior.

The most incredible wine tour of your life. Think Batman / James Bond level architecture along with an incredible wine tour. Sophia was unbelievable and I can’t wait to visit again.

Took a tour of Martin's Line with our tour guide Ella. She was FANTASTIC! It was really nice doing a small tour with just our group. The wine was delicious and it was very interesting to see and learn how the wine is made and tour the different production rooms and the outside vineyard. The architecture and different art pieces were all so beautiful and really enriched the overall experience. 10/10 would recommend.

Santa Rita Hills, Burgundy, Willamette Valley, Marlborough..... Okanagan?Hear me out. As a newly placed transplant living in the Inland Northwest, I wanted to head north across the border to a wine region (albeit 5+ decades old) that was gathering new found attention. Perusing as much information out there on the Okanagan Valley and history I decided to make a few reservations and make impromptu visits to established wineries and fairly younger ones. After about four or five visits under my belt I was starting to perceive that the area still had ways and decades to go before contending with the other new world wine regions south of the location.Enter one of the younger wineries which was founded by Anthony von Mandl, Martin's Lane. Usually I am wary about grandiose wineries backed with a carte blanche attitude, but I could not have been farther from the truth in this instance.Sophia (one of the five full-time employees) was our curator for our visit. Passion, superior knowledge, and just an overall great attitude she provided history of the proprietor, the architecture, the art within, and of course all aspects of the wine. Instead of spreading the winery thin producing multiple varietals or trying to yield as much possible from each hectare, Martin's Lane produces only two - the lowly yielding Pinot Noir and Riesling. The wine itself was a perfect encapsulation of the area. Instead of trying to emulate Burgundy or Central Otago, this produced winery that had characteristics shared and other unique. Generally talking with Sophia, I said it reminded me of a fantastic winery that produces Pinot Noir (among others) in Oregon - Lingua Franca. Taken aback, she mentioned they tend to do horizontal tastings as a litmus test when tasting their new vintages. If this is what Okanagan Valley wine can be or aspire too, it definitely will be in the discussion with the larger new world appellations.Thank you Sophia (amazing!!) and Martin's Lane!

A must see experience. If wine is from the gods then Martin's Lane is from the heavens. This unique winery creates only two types of wine Riesling and Pinot Noir. I could go on for hours of how the winery uses gravity feed so no pumping is involved in the wine making. I could talk about how only 10% of the grapes grown are pinot noir and how its the true noble grape having such potential within its skin but alias so frail and delicate. What one will take away from this experience is that wine has come to the interior in full force, that wine is not about the name its about the land and how the grapes are cultivated and handled. About a tradition of love and caring to make something timeless. If that doesn't impress one check out the building a marvel of steel and concrete dug into the hillside just above Lakeshore drive. Old and new worlds mesh to create a unique wine experience of wine barrels and high tech gadgetry.Experience wine and wine tasting at a whole different level.
