Everything was fine except for the fries.we expected a better quality fries from a local restaurant. But otherwise the Seafood Chowder was really delish and the salmon and Halibut were perfectly cooked.

Massive portions of home cooked meals and friendly servers! We had the cold plate special platter and the land and sea platter. Cold plates were great and land and sea platter had perfectly cooked home fries and the battered deep fried fish and seasoned chicken was excellent!

It was great restaurant in the Newfoundland. We were there during our trip from Cornerbrook to St. John’s and really enjoyed. Don’t forget to test the mooseburger and salmon fish. Nice place, nice people and delicious food.

Food was exactly as described in menu, service was a little slow. Contrary to other reviews I found time from ordering to eating very reasonable. If you're looking for authentic Newfoundland dining room experience, this is your place.

Wanted to treat my family for a meal out after three days of cooking in, only to find you were CLOSED. Nothing on the website, your google site said open, no sign of any explanation - very disappointed. Not good Galley, not good.

Soup was tasteless . Soup was water down. Very badly. steak was done right but did not have much of a taste. overall, the experience was not very pleasant.
