I wish I could give less than 1 star. Changed the scope of work as he went without consulting us first (chose to lay vinyl over existing tile even though we specifically stated we wanted the tile removed), terrible install job with gaps between planks and uneven level, sub floor is worse now than it was before. After coming back half a dozen times to ''fix it

BUYER BEWARE. Installed new hard wood with twoonie sized gaps throughout house. Promised test patches to match existing hardwood to the new. Proceeded to stain entire floor the wrong colour after being told to stop immediately. After holding back 30% to have job fixed he hired a court agent and sued adding false invoice for $2000.00 of extras.

So I contacted Tim Kelba (owner) of Little Shop of Floors to do a job for me. I was needing the flooring in my basement done to sell my home. Tim came to the house and brought samples of carpet that he said he had several rolls of. We picked a carpet and set an install date. I was waiting for the full quote to come through for approval before sending money. Tim came back to me on Friday, October 2, with the quote and requested a deposit of 1200.00. The whole job was 2296.00. The job was set for Monday afternoon, I was told that they would cut and load the product Monday morning and complete the job Monday and Tuesday. They could not start sooner as they had other jobs to do. I sent the deposit via etransfer at 2:31 (I have the confirmation). We had an offer come in on October 3 that requested the carpet not be installed. I immediately contacted Tim and let him know to put the job on hold as we may not need the service. Tim said no problem and to let him know if we made a deal. I contacted Tim that afternoon and let him know that I would not need the service and gave him the info to etransfer the deposit back. Tim then informed me that he already cut the carpet so would have to keep the deposit. I told him that I would be willing to give him 200 for the labour as he could get 4 10x10 rooms out of the size of the carpet he had and also reminded him that he said he was not cutting and loading until Monday morning. Then he changed his story and stated that he had to buy carpet at which time I pointed out that when he came he stated that he had several rolls of this carpet. I then asked for proof of purchase with a time stamp between Friday at 2:30 and Saturday at 10:30. At this time he stopped responding to me. I had to call him from my niece's phone to get ahold of him. He refused to refund the deposit even though I pointed out that nowhere in the emails or on his website did he say that deposits are non-refundable. I then looked at his reviews on Yelp and Google, I wish I had looked there first. The only 5 star review on Yelp was written by him.In response to the owners response" there were several attempts to deal with this issue
