Gam Shoes & Repair

This is by far the worst service I’ve ever had done on my shoes. These are brand new Christian Dior heels that’s valued at $1500. I decided to stay local and get a protective sole on the heels. There is a blue pen mark that won’t come off (the worker tried rubbing it off with an ointment) and glue smudged on the leather. Ontop of that the edges of the sole is left roughed and not smoothen out. This looks like an untrained professional had cut out a sole and super glued it on. I asked for a refund so I can take it somewhere else to get fixed and was told the owner wasn’t there and will be back in 10 days. If I can give negative stars I would! So unacceptable and careless.I normally go to La Galoche on granville he is a shoe genius and can repair anything. DO NOT GO HERE. They can’t even put on a simple sole protector!

My purse hardware was malfunctioning so I brought it to the shop in hopes it could be fixed. The person working there was super helpful. He let me know my options. In the end, he was able to fix it super quickly. He is a very kind person. I specifically remember getting a key cut there before and the service was so great and memorable. I'm also so happy to be able to start using my purse again. Thank you!

Horrible workmanship. I brought a simple pair of gym shoes to repair ripped fabric on the inside heel. The repair wasn’t fully stitched with packing styrofoam on the inside. The gym shoes do not even fit now. The owners fix was to glue the leather and take the styrofoam out. For $40, it’s better off to spend $200 on a new pair of gym shoes.

Sent in a pair of Timberland boots for repair as the heel looked like saucy flimsy pizza. I wasn't in a rush to have them back but after picking them up a week later they looked like a brand new pair of boots. Would highly recommend for his good service and quality work.

Unfortunately, I had a rather unsavory experience. He charges a flat fee for each issue with the shoe, eg. Polishing, fixing a heel and cleaning are $25 each. The worst part is none of it was done very well.. shoes were still dirty, and the heel was not fixed. It's totally crooked, so much so that people have commented. Would not return sadly.

Very poor workmanship. Asks for payment before the repair is completed. I brought very expensive italian shoes for soles and heels. I was not satisfied with the products he used. The repair was definitely NOT professional. When I complained about it, he told me to bring them back if the soles fell off!!!! There is no recourse with this vendor if you are not satisfied with the repair.

Warning: extreme budget repair.Do not bring quality items here.Got the job done but with hideous work. Wasn’t too expensive, but if you’re going to do this to an expensive London Fog boot, just say its not repairable. Time and money wasted just to throw them out anyway.
