Spirit Halloween

First time shopping at Spirit Halloween today. Thank you to Maddie for helping us to find what we needed! She put together an awesome costume for my kid and the girls at the counter were incredibly helpful as we were checking out. Customers for life here!

Nice store to buy your Halloween costume and accessories. Great variety of costumes. There is a nice variety of scary items to decorate the outside of your house.

I just went there today. I never been there before. Very cool place. There’s so many costumes and accessories. Lots of home decor and small Collectables. Staff are nice and prices are decent. The store is well decorated, makes you feel the Halloween spirit.

We went late (2 days before Halloween) but thankfully they still had a ton of stuff available. Value Village and Talize had nothing left for affordable choices so we had to go brand new. It was really busy but the line moved quickly.

Horrible! You are better off driving an extra 20 minutes to other nearby locations. The male staff by the front door was beyond rude and aggressive when I asked a simple question about the stores policy. When I tried to speak to the manager about his behavior she asked me well did you start arguing with him first"? Implying that i was somehow responsible for his unwarranted behavior. So sad that people with absolutely no professionalism or positive customer service are placed in managerial roles. Toxic staff will hire toxic employees and it is absolutely evident that this store is a toxic environment. I left the store after my bad experience and went to the Whitby location. 100% better experience."

First time here and ALL the staff were so very helpful and kind. The place is awesome, we spent an hour looking at costumes and the displays are fantastic. Excellent selection of costumes and Halloween accessories. Lovely staff, very attentive to customers.

This is quite possibly the most awful Spirit Halloween store I have ever been to. We purchased an inflatable costume for my disabled child because it was easiest for us to use for his disability and is well brought him such joy. We went home to test it and it worked. Last weekend we we dressed him up in it to visit my elderly grandmother to surprise her. Upon turning it on we found the fan was having issues and would not allow the costume to inflate. I went back to Spirit to see if I could have it exchanged with my credit card receipt and as well the original packaging. Their supposed manager" Mackenzie was nothing short but rude to myself and my disabled child laughing and snickering at us saying that they couldn't exchange it as it was past the 27th. I explained how the product was defective and the issues we experienced and she continued to snicker and be rude to me telling me I had plenty of time to return it before the 27th. I asked to have a way to contact their district manager whom they got on the phone right away.Susan the district manager was even worse than Mackenzie who began to swear and yell at me over the phone loud enough had to pull the phone away from my head. I explained I had paid $80 for the costume and just wanted to exchange it for one that worked but she continued to swear and scream and said if I wanted another I would have pay full price and she wouldn't do anything as it was the day before Halloween.It's pretty disgusting that a group of adults went out of their way to try and ruin a disabled child's Halloween. Thank God for Value Village they helped us find a costume just in time and took extra care to make sure a disabled child night was special.I HIGHLY recommend you avoid this Spirit Halloween at all costs."

Huge shout out to the amazingly friendly and helpful staff at the king & Stevenson rd location! Helped us find everything we needed and when we had a large decoration missing pieces Rick and the other managers (sorry I forgot her name) went above and beyond to make it right for us even with the store lined all the up to the back wall. Will definitely be back to this location!!

Wonderful location for all the cool costumes. Down side they move store locations every year. But for sure worth checking it out for the outfits you can find there. Also the staff work hard everyday to bring everyone a great Halloween!

Amazing stuff, it's all great quality a little bit overpriced but still great quality, And great store
