The 21st Battalion eastern Ontario CEF was an infantry battalion of the Canadian expeditionary force in the great war. Some of the battle honours Somme, 1916 & 1918, Vimy Ridge 1917, Hill 70, Passchendaele can much more. The 21st Battalion recruited in eastern Ontario and was mobilized in Kingston Ontario.

City Park contains so much to do. Children's playground, splash pad and lots of areas for picnics. Beautiful old trees. Lots of walking paths. And on Canada day weekend, Artfest!

This is a monument to the men of the 21st Canadian expeditionary force who left our beautiful city to serve in the First World War. A beautiful tribute. No need for tickets. Located in a lovely park.
