Hanayuki Sushi
Food was far below average. Nabeyaki udon broth lacks flavour, no mushrooms, fried chicken instead of traditional boiled chicken, egg fully cooked instead of poached. Service was super slow. Extremely pushy even though still 20mins before closing. Asked for takeout boxes twice and both were dirty with sauce splash stains everywhere. Server even questioned where it's dirty and I had to point them out, but why wouldn't you trust your customer. I didn't want to wave the server down if I didn't have to, not an easy task there like I mentioned. NOT RECOMMENDED. Don't waste your money and time there.

Very good sushi place which we accidentally discovered just recently. Good serving size for the price. Tasty food. Clean place and great customer service. Will definitely go back!

First time eating at Hanayuki Sushi. Very nice atmosphere, lots of seating & very clean! Service was friendly and we were seated quickly. We arrived around 6pm and there was no wait. When we left at 7 it was busy with a few people waiting. Food was very good and prices reasonable too. We would go back for sure :)

Decided to go here because I heard good things. It was mediocre at best. Nothing tasted bad, but there was nothing to rave about. The sushimi was super thick and unenjoyable. One of them tasted awful! I had to spit it out.Service wasn’t the greatest. You have to walk up and find someone if you need anything, such as the bill. I wouldn’t return here. Again, it’s not bad, but I’ve had way better.

Very disappointed!!I have ordered the IOCO ladies roll multiple times from this restaurant requesting the roll to be vegan. I also note that I have a dairy and egg allergies.Yet it still comes with the mayonnaise.I decided this is the last time I am ordering from here as much as I enjoy their rolls, the quality has definitely gone down since opening.Hanayuki did replace my order but I did have to drive back to the restaurant to do so.No excuses for not following dietary restrictions. Completely unacceptable and should be follow more strictly.

This was our second time to Hanayuki and were happy with our orders both times. On our last visit we ordered the party tray 1, some other sushi and the chicken yakisoba. All delicious and friendly service. Will be back.

first time visit. found this place on google map with good rating; was a bit skeptical because the ratings sometimes can be a hit or miss. but this one is Good!impressed by the taste, quality portion, and the value of the foods, plus, atmosphere and service. the bento boxes have such great values and quality compared to other sushi restaurants. will definitely return again!Update:5 months gone by, we're still impressed by this place! Have been recommending it to families and friends.Update (during pandemic, 2021):Hanayuki never stops impressing us! The takeout orders have been extraordinary in food quality, portion, and packaging. The mobile app is among the best for restaurants. Still, it's our most favorite Japanese restaurant in The Greater Vancouver!

Delicious chicken Katsu don, dynamite rolls, and red dragon rolls. Highly recommend those for anyone feeling hungry! Great value!

We enjoyed our Lion King roll and Spicy Chirashidon combo. However chicken karaage was too dry.. reasonable price and beautiful layout. Friendly servers. Will definitely visit again!
