I went in search of a new barber in Mimico after my regular barber of 10 years went out of business due to COVID. I tried a couple of barbers in my neighborhood and the cuts were below average to average. Then I went to George and got a very good cut, on par with my old barber. I would've been content to have George continue to cut my hair at that level. However, today George gave me one of the best, if not the best, haircut I've ever had! The perfect cut! I found my new barber.

George often goes above and beyond when it comes to accommodating me with my tricky schedule whenever I or my boys need a haircut. He does a great job, and charges a decent a price. What more could I ask for?

I still owe George money for a haircut and he's been a gem about not reporting me to the debt police. He's just that kind of a stand up gem of a fella, the kind of hero in a barber that Toronto so desperately needs, but barely deserves. I for one will keep going to this place (and paying) as long as he keeps the doors and a chair open for his to-the-point 20 minute chop that leaves a bloke feeling like new again.

George has been my go to barber for more than fifteen years and although I have considerably less hair (on my head), than I did when I started going there, he continues to be able to make me look younger, slimmer and 'a little lighter' at every visit. I enjoy his company and some good banter to go along with a fine haircut. As long as he can still hold the scissors I'll be in the chair. (He should put his prices up though).

If your looking for a hair cut old or young George has got you covered. Great atmosphere service and attention to detail. Make sure to call in or ask in regards to booking time usually not full up but will save you from a longer wait time. Best place around!! Waiting room also has TV to watch or good people to chat with when waiting. Update been going here for years amazing customer service and attention to detail. Love it!

A review you don't want to write as more people will discover this gem.A nice little shop, two chairs in the shop. George is great, quality haircuts each and every time we've been in. A very classic athmosphere.He's great with little beings and our little one has had a number of cuts from George. Will definitely be the spot we hit up for a long while.
