Service is less now. Personal vehicle not allowed to park while renting. Price is now higher per day. Vehicle is clean and dependable.

So expensive and they still try to snatch every dollar they can from you with hidden fees. Remember to take evidence photos of your full gas tank and of the car upon each inspection.

Overall the experience was great until it came to me asking them to complete the 300 dollar deposit pre authorization then refund me the 300 dollars so that I would have access to my funds immediately rather than releasing the hold which then takes in almost every case that I've ever had to wait for one anywhere from 7 to 30 days. Had he just completed it then refunded me it would instantly be on my card and I would have been able to have money. Now I have to wait for God only knows how long it's way too long. Anyway, they downright refused to even acknowledge that they could do it that when it's the easiest thing on earth could do. They completed the charge of $45 for the car? Why couldn't they complete the other 300 then refunded me back the 300 rather than releasing it? Such a joke. Very not impressed. I'm actually going to give you one star. I was going to originally give you a two but now I am angry

Very helpful, and very knowledgeable about the vehicles they provide. Also I found them to be easy going, and flexible :)

They charged us for damage we did not incur, and would not respond to requests to dispute. I had to go through a chargeback process with my bank. Then National Car sent the charged back portion to collections. Dirty scammers.

I can't say enough good things about my experience buying with Mauricio at the Colwood location. He was kind, very patient and made the whole process seamless. I would highly recommend Mauricio if you are looking to purchase a vehicle! Thank you so much!

Beware.Very unhappy with the way were treated by the Colwood location staff. As has been reported here by others we were accused of scratching the underside of the front bumper.The car was not clean when handed to us, inside or outside including a can of chewing tobacco and a pair of sunglasses left in the vehicle.The agent did an extremely quick walk around when we picked it up, and when we returned to drop it off he got done on his hands and knees to find a scratch. When we asked for the prior inspection report we were handed one that was undated. We were charged $300 for damage we did not do, and I am sure they will not repair. The way we were treated made us feel like liars and cheaters. The impression I got from the agent was that he knew a scratch was there and was going to make us pay for it.I have used National Car rental several times in the past and purchased two cars from the sales division. Never again will I enter their establishment and I will make sure everyone I know, in person and online will hear this story.Bottomline is if you are forced to rent from them go over the car with a fine tooth comb before you leave their lot.Or rent anywhere else.Update...I was contacted by National as you can see below. They asked for more information. I supplied it all. I was then told there was nothing they could do to help.Thanks for nothing National Car Rental. Never will I rent from you again, and rest assured I will share this story with everyone I know.

WATCH OUT WATCH OUT WATCH OUT Stay away from this scammer they will do anything to scam you and take that deposit when I took the vehicle the inspection took less then a minute and when I returned the vehicle for final inspection he went right away to the bottom of the vehicle for a small scratch on the plastic it's like he knew about it alreadySCAMMER

The guys were friendly and professional! They helped me a lot and gave me a vehicle that wasn’t red (I have a fear of driving a red vehicle). Can’t thank them enough! Would definitely rent from here again.

Rented a truck with my partner to move some small furniture. Only used the truck for a few hours and drove it 14km, parked it in mint condition on their lot later that night. Come the morning they said the truck windshield was cracked and charged my partners credit card for $1000 for the deductible for the optional insurance we paid for. Spend a few more bucks up front and go to U-Haul and don't get scammed by these crooks!!!
