I have attended this church for 18 years. Along the ups and downs of my faith journey I have felt welcomed, my questions and doubts are heard and respected. In the messiness of life I am so grateful for this church community. Over the years I have come to know God through Jesus Christ. I have learned that the wisdom of the Bible is multilayered. I have found myself comfortable in my interpretations of various scripture only to discover new to me angles that encourage me to be gentler with myself and my fellow travellers. Rather than judgement I have found support and Love. I hope you will feel the courage to give it a try if you are curious. Grateful!

A member of the United Church of Canada who tries to make their church a safer and loving place for all and especially the LGBTQ community who have been persecuted. This church lives the gospel of love not hate.

This is one of the most loving and sincere communities I have come across. An affirming congregation who are dedicated to the love and care of all. This church community has always been warm and welcoming to me and my family. The care and concern they show for the community help to spread love and compassion well beyond Ladner. The programs they provide space for help a great number of people in our town. From youth to those more seasoned in life, this church is always willing to open its doors and welcome the community.

The church building is one of the best maintained and freshest church spaces I have been in. Secondly behind the church is a wonderful community garden. If you live in town and want a bed for next year get your name on the waiting list now. You will have fun and meet some interesting people.

I have been attending at LUC for many years. Sometimes often and sometimes not so frequently because of life events. The thing is that I always feel welcome and people really care when they ask `How are you today`. The congregation is truly spirit filled as you will find as you walk in the door.
