Clarence was outstanding. I had him do a sweep and a cap, he does a great job looking at everything that may be of concern as he is doing the work. Prices are very reasonable. I strongly recommend The Chimney Guy!

Clarence came out to our house twice to help with a fireplace conversion another company was doing for us. He initially came out to clean our wood burning fireplace in preparation for the conversion. He offered to come back when the other crew was coming to work so he could haul away our wood burning fireplace for us. This was very much appreciated because the thing weighed about 500 lbs and we had no idea what to do with it.Not only did Clarence come back to haul away the old fireplace, he also stayed all day (six hours) to help the crew convert our fireplace to gas. It was about 90 degrees outside and those guys worked hard the whole time. The leader from the other crew informed me that they would not have finished the job that day if Clarence didn’t stay to help.Thank you Clarence for going above and beyond- we will definitely recommend you to everyone who needs chimney work!

Clarence was absolutely fantastic. Punctual, efficient, and a down to earth guy who will tell you not only how your chimney is now, but also how to prevent problems in the future. He cleaned up after himself (even vacuuming the pine needles I’d left from the Christmas tree since I figured I’d have to sweep). Also, great adherence to COVID safety protocols! I felt very safe and he wore his mask the whole time.Highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to clean or inspect their fireplace. You cannot get better service.

I cannot express enough how much The Chimney Guy, Clarence, helped me. I went to a previous mainstream outfit and they over quoted me drastically. I did not trust the quote, so I frantically called around asking questions to a half dozen outfits. When I called Clarence, his voicemail said he would get back to me within the week. I was not optimistic. He got back to me within 15 minutes! He even squeezed me into his next appointment because he knew my issue was time sensitive and felt bad that I was bamboozled by another company because I am a female who had no prior knowledge on chimney issues. He arrived on time and identified the problem, which was quite minor in comparison. He was extremely informative- he showed the images on his fancy device and left a detailed report. I will definitely be contacting Clarence for all my chimney needs!

The chimney guy is seriously just an awesome dude. He was able to fit us in last minute and did an amazing job on our very not so maintained wood stove. I can't thank Clarence enough for being an awesome human being. I am very happy with the service on our stove and you are just great. I can't thank you enough. Don't ever let anyone dim your light because you are fantastic!

Awesome! Clarence is a very personable and professional individual and checked over each of my concerns and some. He offered a solution that the other guys looked over and clearly knows his stuff!

Clarence was the 3rd and final call we made regarding work on our fireplace. We had two other local companies out previously who told us we needed expensive services we actually didnt need. Clarence exposed their methods and actually thoroughly swept our fireplace and gave us good advice on its care. He saved us thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. We cannot speak more highly of him and his work ethic. Icing on the cake- he was neat, personable and kind.

Really nice guy and did a thorough job inspecting the chimney and fire insert in our new home! He gave us extra tips on how to care for the fireplace and even noted the condition of our shingles/roof. Great customer service and highly recommended!

I just had a great experience with The Chimney Guy.I had a problem with my chimney damper and I called him early on in the week. He picked up right away told me he'd be at my home on Saturday at 1pm.He showed up exactly when he said he would, was courteous and knowledgeable, fixed our problem and charged me more than fairly. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you Clarence!
