I don’t like to asked to donate to a charity when I order food, it’s rude and puts people on the spot. Not to mention inflation is so high go panhandle somewhere else, not your customers. Also when you beg for money/charity you should inform the people you’re begging to what happened with the money…… for all I know they’re paying some CEO pigs bonus for the year. How disgusting.

Finally open! Space was clean and bright at 9pm. Good seating capacity inside and out. Mikaela who served us was kind and friendly.They’ve got charging ports on the walls which is a bonus. Fries were hot and crispy, JBC was fresh tasting, Dave’s cheeseburger was good too. They closed half an hour early on the first day since they were so busy.

Friendly service, Bad food!I don't eat fast food often but both times I've been here in the last 4 months it was the same. Special order ignored, burgers dry and cold. Looks like they keep them around pre made for as long as it takes to get rid of them. There are enough tourists around that maybe they don't worry about repeat customers?

Had a bit of an uncomfortable experience today (June 20). It was about 4 pm, I was waiting in line, service was a little slow, but oh well I didn’t make a fuss about it. An older lady with glasses as well as another woman who both work there came out and were also waiting in line to order food. When we were done ordering and waiting in the pick-up area, the older lady was talking bad about one of the other employees. Now that’s just completely unprofessional to do, especially in front of CUSTOMERS. That kind of talk is what makes a toxic work environment. Just because the service was a little slow doesn’t give the older lady the right to talk bad about her coworkers in front of customers. Again, very unprofessional.

Without a doubt the worst Wendy's I've been to. Suggest the owners get out their security cameras and watch the footage at the cashier at about 230 pm on Friday March 18. This was my first visit to the new location and my last. I expect I was in line for over 15 minutes with only 3 ppl in front of me. I spent most of it with only one person in front of me before I finally swore and left. Not a great opening to a new store.Suggest you hire people with at least some level of personal hygiene then train them properly to handle their assigned jobs efficiently. I used to love Wendy's and was glad to see one open near me at there's little other offerings in Parksville but it you ever want me to set foot in your store again, you're buying my dinner.

First time, it was just ok... Service was friendly, not the quickest. I ordered 2 chicken burgers and asked for extra lettece and tomatoes, got none of that, the chicken burgers were actually quite dry. Also no napkins in my drive through bag. I wanted to like this spot since it was new but it was kind of a let down. Not sure if anything will pull me to come back.

Entry into parking is new, no signage so it is easy to miss. Not lit and no signage, so if you are heading south you have to turn earlier than you think.Burger was greasy even for Wendy's standards. But really, with Wendy's beef burgers you are always expecting a lot of grease.The kid running the drive through was really good though.

went in today and asked what was on the burger, they did not specify that there was cheese on it, so when we got it and realized it was on there, we took it back, they said they would replace them, and then charged us for new burgers. Not totally their fault, but usually in these circumstances most places fix it for free, especially since they are already pretty overpriced, compared to their competition. Probably won't go back.

Eating in? Don't go at 3 in the afternoon. Burger was dry and just barely warm. Incredibly noisy listening to staff chatting - noise abatement would lessen the shower-like atmosphere.

From what I understand this place opened some what recently, but oh boy it's already filthy. For a place thats been open a couple of months it shouldn't be this run down. Feels like they clean it once a month or something. And if you're using the drive through you dont have to experience it so probably go with that.Then the service.. oh boy I never understand why they hire people to work at taking orders that cant properly pronounce English words. Its so hard to understand what the cashier was saying and I imagine trough the intercom in drive through its way worse.Burgers atleast ware spot on. Havent been to Wendy's where the mess up the burgers.. would give 5 stars if staff could speak without cutting last bit of every word and if they would clean up once in a while.
