Fairly good meal for $20. You get really good Minestrone soup, bread with whipped butter, spaghetti and meatballs and ice cream. I haven't been to a Spag Factory in 20 years, so the meatballs were smaller than I remembered, but that might just be my failing memory. I would definitely go again.

I brought my mom to have dinner. This was our first time here. Our server Matthew was amazing! Our entire experience was amazing. Our server came back with refils on drinks before our glasses were empty. He was very polite and on top of service. One of the best server experiences I've had. I really liked the menu and that there is an alcohol free drink menu too. Our entres were delivered with impeccable timing between our soup and salad. We didn't feel rushed. Great atmosphere and amazing service. We will be back!

Before i start my review i would like to say that we did not bring up our issues with our waitress just because 1 we didn’t want to make a big deal and upset anyone (neither of us like confrontation) and 2 we just wanted to leave.our waitress simona was very nice and pleasant. the restaurant was very quiet and seemed to be very clean. once we sat down and received our food we noticed LOTS of fruit flies, constantly flying around. we even killed a few. our caesar salad and minestrone soup was good - although the croutons for the salad were stale. my boyfriend had the seafood linguine with mussels, he noticed that some of the mussels weren’t open all the way and that some looked very stringy and gross on the inside. i had the manicotti, although i only took one bite and chose not to eat anymore because it was very dry and tasted like it had been sitting out fit a while. i hate to give a bad review and i’m sorry we didn’t say anything while we were in the store.

Server was good, Alfredo was average. Mozzarella triangles a bit on the salty side but nice and gooey. Seated quickly just seemed to take a while overall. Dissapointing to hear they were out of spumoni, only one loaf of bread, and down to one butter cup compared to what used to be two cups and types. Salad was cold and fresh. Thankfully prices still decent aka lower than average. Decently priced cheesecake and chocolate cake desserts too. BUT what was woth the multitude of burned out light bulbs and storage in the main restaurant...see picture. Parking tight in lot, but lots of overflow at the mall.

Venue is so nicely decorated, stays true to the ol spaghetti factory experience, colourful seats, incredible chandeliers, stained glass etc. so decorations and all are top notch at this spot.It was very busy when we went , so we had a 40 minute wait. Tables weren’t quite set so when our food came out we got the soup etc but had to ask for utensils. But service was very responsive after we’d asked etc.Food itself didnt live up to expectations. I’ve legit had the same order at every old spaghetti factory I’ve been to in Toronto, Banff, Edmonton (west Ed) and even the Calgary downtown location couple years ago - it’s always the managers favourite with spicy meat sauce and the mizithra cheese - but the brown butter wasn’t enough / didn’t come through in taste and there seemed to be genuinely a smaller serving of the cheese itself so the spaghetti tasted fairly bland and not cheesy / salty. So overall still 4 stars, for the venue, the freshness, keeping the prices similar to how it’s been forever but I feel like it can’t come at the cost of the taste / quality of food itself.

An all included meal including a very generous tip came to $40 for a beverage, main, appetizer unlimited bread and garlic butter with soup or salad, and dessert. All freshly made in house, right down to the noodles and sauce, with a recipe and layering that I haven't seen at some of the best in years, best lasagna in 20 years other than my own. Salad was crispy- fresh not wet, soup very nice aroma. I have cooked and assisted in prepping at some lovely Greek and Italian places in Calgary. Save your money on over priced food else where. Great place for every occasion, a nice date, business dinner/lunch, singles, or great for families as well. Very clean, nice decor, and ambience was perfect. Staff were very professional and attentive. Thank you so much, it really was a pleasure to have dinner out with no let downs, and go home with a smile. We will be back.

This place is so good and yummy! I can’t say if it’s authentic since I don’t eat Italian food regularly but nevertheless, eating there is an enjoyable experience. The staff are super friendly and they don’t let you leave without being full. As I entered the restaurant, the workers at the front did their jobs thoroughly and effectively. No issues here. Getting directed to my table was quick because today the restaurant wasn’t super full. I then ordered my meals. Ratings I give them are:- Parmesan Sweet Potato Fries ($8.50) 8/10- Caesar Salad ($2.50)7.5/10- Minestrone ($2.50)9/10- Lasagna – Mama Pulosi’s Secret Homemade Recipe ($18.95)8/10- Manicotti ($18.75)8/10- Banana Berry Smoothie ($4.50)9/10- Chocolate Layer Cake ($6.25)10/10- Pistachio and Chocolate Ice Cream (free with cake)8/10When it was time to pay, I couldn’t find my server for a pretty long time. She couldn’t be at fault because she had to tend to other people but I was in a rush as my family members were already leaving. Overall, this place isn’t for casual dining. I assume people only come here for special events or certain times a year. The prices are pretty high for the amount of food you’re getting but the quality and taste make it okay. They serve alcohol and accept reservations if you need. A lot of options to accommodate. Must recommend to those who haven’t tried!

From the time of our reservation until we received our order it was 55 minutes. I didnt feel it was overly busy not sure what happened. But the waitress was very kind. Normally I wouldn't have minded but we had another reservation for entertainment and one of my friends had to leave before she ate dinner to save our other reservation. But I have returned since for a dinner for my birthday and the service was much better.

While the calamari that we order was a tad over cooked, everything overall was super tasty! I would recommend making a reservation though - it was fairly busy, and it was about a 30 minute wait to be seated.

I have to admit I was very disappointed with the Old Spaghetti Factory. We came in with a large group (14) without a reservation and were automatically charged a 20% gratuity. The service was slow and unresponsive. We waited a long time just to get water and bread on the table. It was at least 20 minutes before they got around to taking our orders. There seemed to be only one or two wait staff covering the restaurant which was not that busy. We repeatedly had to ask for the usual service like more water or bread. You would think that if they were charging us an mandatory gratuity that they would at least try to earn that tip.I used to enjoy the food at Old Spaghetti factory but this meal was uninspired. I had the lasagna and the sauce was bland and there was not enough cheese. When we were finished, it took a long time to clear the dishes and check if we wanted dessert. In fact , my dishes were still on the table when ice cream was served, and remained there until we left. And the prices were too high. I realize it is “all included” but even the lunch-size entrees were more than $15.I won’t be back here which is sad because I used to enjoy the Old Spaghetti Factory. You need more staff who know how to provide a good level of service. I always felt we were inconvenience the woman who was our server.
