Hockey School Calgary-Tucker Hockey

As a newer adult player with minimal previous instruction, I have learned so much! All the coaches are so helpful and friendly - they break down the skills and build on them from one week to the next with minimal time standing around. Feeling much stronger on my skates now! Highly recommend!

I had my Son who was a Bantam 1 in his first year attend this camp as he prepared to go to his tryouts for his second year of Bantam Hockey. The coaches at Tucker were excellent and the skating drills were up tempo and focused on technique. I was very happy and so was my son with the end result of this week long camp. This prep camp also helped him make Bantam 1 again and the competition was very tough.

My daughter did the evaluation pre week camp in Aug 2019. It was awesome. They had her working hard and she still really enjoyed it. The coaches know their stuff and are great with the kids. We will absolutely be back next year.

Strong fundamentals, clear instruction and positive encouragement wiped away years of rust and bad habits. A great way to get back into the game with confidence after 30 years of watching but never playing. I have taken the basic skills course for the last 5 years and continue to benefit every time. Highly recommended.

Recently took the Adult technical program with coaches Frank, Jimmy, Carter, Jeff and Bobby. Excellent coaching, fun and effective drills and over all just a great experience. Due to the results I saw in my skating I signed up for the adult tactical-hybrid program next week. Looking forward to that!

Tucker is a highly skilled hockey development program. You will have smaller groups so the kids get quality teaching, quick instruction and application so kids aren’t standing around, and situational drills that kids can use in the game. You won’t be disappointed!

My son wanted to improve his skating and he wanted to advance and make a higher division in his community league. Rex definitely took him to a new level and with hard work, dedication & discipline inspired by Rex my son met his goal and just keeps moving forward. The things Rex taught him transferred over in to other areas as well, not just hockey. He is more focused on school and more disciplined as well. Rex gets all the credit from my 14 year old for his huge advancement in hockey. He will continue to learn from Rex and we would HIGHLY recommend TUCKER HOCKEY for hockey/skating development.

I took the Technical Skills/Fundamentals program with Tucker Hockey, and the instruction was top notch. I've taken adult beginner hockey programs and power skating courses from other places before, but I found Tucker Hockey to be way better. There are more instructors per student, and the instructors do a great job of explaining and demonstrating the drills, and what makes Tucker Hockey exceptional is that instructors will go out of their way to have one on one time with myself, who was not the strongest skater or had the strongest hockey skills. I also really liked the times of the courses. I took the early morning class, so it was perfect for me because I work a full time job and have young children, so an early morning ice-time worked best for me.I will likely take another adult hockey program to further develop my hockey skills. My son is transferring from a goalie to a defenceman, Tucker hockey has been awesome, giving my son the skills to do so. The instructors on the ice are top notch!!!! Highly recommend Tucker hockey!!!!
