Great coarse really enjoy your playing there.

A well-maintained golf course open to members and the public. Only 2 holes with water challenges. Fairly narrow fairways and small greens benefit precision golfers.Restaurant serves basic pub food.Small pro shop.

Top quality course and people. Anyone who grew up playing this course became very good at a lost art.....bump and run shots. If you want to work on your shot into the green and getting up and down you found your test, small but very well maintained greens. If you hit greens here all day you will have your share of makeable birdie putts. Hidden gem for sure!!

If you’re a young woman, don’t golf here. We used a rain check we had from last summer when an old man decided to say things about my outfit. Now here we are, letting 5 people go ahead of us, but one man (who wasn’t even close to us when we started our 8th hole) decided to ruin my first time out this year but telling us we’re “too slow”, and that I “need my bf to teach me”. This is my FIRST time out this year. Clubhouse did nothing about how this pathetic man’s behaviour affected our game, after we explained what happened, aside from tell us they’d speak to him. If I was an older woman, I GUARANTEE I would not have been spoken to that way.Ruined my first time out, thanks.

Very well maintained, small greens, good price. If I am ever back in the Ridgetown area, I will happily play this course again.

The Royal and Ancient Ridgetown Golf and Country Club is the hidden gem of courses in Chatham Kent. It is rich with history and is a fun course to play. I think with a few tweaks it could be a premier course in the province. It's not overly busy so I recommend getting out there to play. If Golf North is paying attention to these reviews I want to be the General Manager there and restore the facility to its former glory.

One of my favorites for sure. It's never busy. Beautiful shape. Course is 100 years old and has the mature trees to prove it!!!
