Rosebud ~ Queen Regent B & B

We arrived late but were welcomed and asked if we needed anything like wine glasses or plates for our snacks. She let us put our beverages and food in her fridge. The room was comfortable and well thought out with mirror, fan, lamps, garbage can Etc provided. Nice big bathroom with towels and amenities. Our host Alana, had indoor and outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. She cooked an absolutely amazing breakfast and even made 2 kinds of sourdough breads which were delicious toasted. Our experience was way better than we could’ve imagined! Thanks, Alana!

It was one of the worst bed and breakfasts that I have ever stayed at. The room looked like it had been decorated from a garage sale. The bottom sheet on my bed was white, the top sheet was brown and the pillow case was white with lilac coloured flowers. The comforters did not match the room so there was no appeal to the room at all. When we cleaned the tables, they were dirty. We could not find the owner that evening even to pay for the room. I ran the doorbell, knocked on her door and even went outside to look for her, so we did not have a key to our room to lock up our belongings so we could go off to the theatre. We had to lock up our valuables in our car. I finally found the owner the next morning when I knocked on her door to pay her for the room. We left without showering as there was not enough towels to do so nor did we stay for breakfast. We could not leave fast enough. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only reason I initially took it was that everything else was fully booked. It is truly over priced for the quality of the service and accommodations.

Beautiful stately home. Very quiet and restful. Wonderful host who cooked us a wonderful breakfast and gave us lots of great tips for travelling in the area. Thanks Alana.

This B&B is comfortable, the hostess is so kind and helpful. The rooms are artistically decorated as well. The food is home-made and made from local ingredients bought from farms round about Rosebud. Just a comment . . .Some of the poor reviews online are because Alana, who is the owner is an online activist supporting picked-on" groups. A consequence her activism is that people who are angry with her point of view have left unkind reviews on her business

We love the stately, old house! Alana was warm and friendly. Very clean throughout. Great and quiet location near theatre and mercantile. Delicious homemade breakfast. Very good coffee. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others. Love your antiques.

My husband and I experienced a lovely stay with Alanna in Rosebud. She welcomed us warmly and treated us like family. We look forward to future visits and will strongly recommend her B&B to friends. It will be part of our trip whenever we attend future Rosebud plays.

Wonderful and welcoming B & B. So glad we found it. Alana was a lovely host. Very comfortable room, delicious cooked breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat.(Note: some map Apps and GPS either don't recognize the road name or show it as located outside of Rosebud. I can assure you that it's definitely right in the heart of Rosebud and easy to find!).

We came with another couple to go to Rosebud Theatre. This is our third time staying with Alanna, and we love it! We are always warmly greeted, offered coffee, and made to feel welcome. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The proximity to the theatre is very handy. The breakfast in the morning is always very tasty. Alanna gives you options for breakfast to suit your tastes and dietary needs. We will be back next year!
