Seafood noodles were delicious and probably the dish I like more than the Three cup chicken. The mango frost dessert was excellent!

Food generally good except for one rice dish I ordered that is on the bland side. Not sure if it is due to all other flavorful dishes or that's the flavor profile. The service definitely is lacking. When you initially walked in, the waitress nicely greeted you and serve you hot/room temperature water based on your choice. Food and drinks were served pretty fast. But that's as good as it gets. As I was still eating, the waitress came up and took away my plate without asking me if it is ok. Although I just have the last bite of my food and my plate does appear empty. But that still doesn't mean I am done, as the mouth is still chewing and chopstick in mid-air. And during the whole dining, noone ever came up to us and asked if the food were good and if everything was okay. And noone came up to refill our water. For the price, and based on decor, I would expect much better service. If you are looking for a good dining experience, I would say don't even bother. If you are in for the food, would be a good place to try.

Stopped by for a late lunch and was not disappointed. Place was pretty empty so was sat right away. Menu had lots of tasty options but opted for the spicy beef fried rice. Food was pretty fast and very tasty. I also ordered a Mango frost off of the drink menu which turned out to not be a drink but a dessert. It was super tasty and I want another one already. Now I want to try everything on the menu. Highly recommend.

Pricy but delicious and authentic tasting Taiwanese food. The portion is quite generous so I don’t mind coming again.The clear broth beef noodle is very tasty. The beef brisket is so tender and falls apart easily. Very satisfying to eat on a cold rainy day.The place seems quite busy so coming early before the dinner rush is ideal.

Comparing to Richmond's Taiwanese restaurants, it's a little bit pricy. Can feel that they try hard to make the meal to be traditional Taiwanese style food. But for the old people like us, A Bento still have lots space to make improvements about the taste.

As a Taiwanese, I’ve always enjoyed exploring Taiwanese food. The food is pretty authentic. You can even find the street food”oyster pancakes “ here. That really surprised me!! But I find the food a bit pricey and the service wasn’t really good. But it’s still worth to try

Night out menu is great for January and FebruaryThe Taiwanese food is very peppery (pepper, not spicy). It was delicious and a good change to what I usually eat. They also keep the food relevant so it doesnt get boring if you visit often. I would recommend. The restaurant is very popular for good reason. We got a reservation, but even then it's still busy. Place is great for special occasions with friends or taking datesThe server said the chef and owner are still working on getting desserts on the menu. That would be appreciated, cross my fingers. Dessert is the only thing missing from this flawless menu

Food is good, could use more eggs in oyster pancake. Appetizer Trio is good except they use Italian sweet basil rather than Taiwanese basil. There's about 6 parking spaces in the back that are free.

Food was ok, drink was good, not bad but no surprising flavors. Service was great, servers are friendly and helpful when recommending dishes, clearing out dishes. Environment is good, pretty clean and spacious. Would be a good place for a regular day comfort food lunch or dinner, though price is kinda high for this type of food.
