Except from the English enhanced language class, my experience here is not good at all. My advisor never give me advice or suggestion even when I tried to contact her by email or by phone. I had to just come in and she talked to me for 5 mins and told me to read the job description for the position at worldskills, no advice for my CV or anything. It seems like they never reply email!

I have benefitted immensely from the programs offered by World Skills. The people are amazing. Shruti Shah is very kind and helpful. She does an amazing job of helping people find suitable roles. Amy Watt is the best resume writer I have ever met. She cares about her clients. I can't thank them enough.

I will highly recommend world skills to all new immigrants.World skills is the ideal place to go for guidance as a new immigrant to Canada looking to integrate, understand the job market and get the necessary skills needed to secure your dream job. They train on resume and interviews preparation, help you practice through mock interviews, connect you to employers and personally coach you through out the interview process.Their entire team is so amazing and always open to answers all your questions at the shortest possible time. Thanks to world skills I was able to secure my ideal job after two months of arriving Canada.

I was misled by the employment consultant. She told me not to apply for any government positions, because the government hire internally. 2 months later I found a report on the news says that the government of Canada has its highest new hire rate in decades. Felt betrayed.

Since you have already collected people's ID copy and contact info, I think those are your main work, and you use that info to apply more budget. You don't be worried and just use it that way.Stop sending those silly and scam emails to us. I understand you need to pretend you guys are doing something, but stop harassing us, cheater.

I say stay away from this place. People are rude, although they are themselves immigrants, they think they are superior to newcomers, patronize and boss around treating newcomers like kids.Don't waste your time here.

I highly recommend World Skills to newcomers who are looking for a job! There are so many helpful programs: Job Search Workshop, employment counsellor’s help with resume, cover letter and interview, access to World Skills Job Board, etc. Thank you everyone, especially Sarah and Zahra from OCISO, Skye, Wedad, and Shruti from World Skills!!

My experience at World Skills as a Newcomer has been spectacular! I registered as a client with World Skills mainly to be screened for the Federal Internship for Newcomers(FIN) program. Through the screening process I had the opportunity to connect with the World’s top Resume Coach, Amy Watt, who went above and beyond to not only help me fix my resume but to assist me with the necessary guidance to submit a successful application for the FIN program.Again, I registered for the Sector Specific Employment Initiative program and had the opportunity to attend a Finance workshop and networked with many professionals out there. Last but not least, I now have access to a Career Coach, Doris Haddad who is assisting me in my professional journey. I am truly grateful for this organization and would definitely recommend to anyone needing any of their services.

Great organization for newcomers! They have programs and events including a resume clinic and an interview roulette to prepare newcomers for the job market and help them settle in. Worth considering.
