Cajun on King

Arrived on a Friday night with some friends to grab some dinner. We ordered a round of beers which took longer than beer usually takes to be served. A couple of my friends ordered dinner - a burger and a chicken caesar wrap. The burger arrived promptly but the chicken caeser wrap took about an hour to prepare. There was no cutlery or napkins on our table or brought to us even when the food was served. Additionally, I could not have any food there as there was literally only one vegetarian item on the menu. I will likely not be going back to Cajun on King.

Chicken was a little dry but my date had the fish and it was amazing! Drinks and service were phenomenol

Nice ambiance, great appetizers and drinks. We absolutely loved the shrimp and sweet potatoes cake, their biscuits with butter but were disappointed with jambalaya ( what should have been called dirty rice"). The fresh donuts for dessert were lovely. Apparently they will be changing the menu soon so we'd like to go back and try it."

The atmosphere is good and the staff are friendly. We had the chicken dish with dumplings plus catfish and rice. It was not bad! It's a good place for the first date if you ask me! :)

Wonderful ambiance and authentic Cajun food. Monday oyster nights.

My husband and l had dinner at Cajun on King last night and quite enjoyed the food we ordered. Is it authentic New Orleans style?, not really! However, it was tasty. Atmosphere is nice but our biggest disappointment was with the service! Absolutely terrible! Very short staffed for the number of customers. For that reason alone, we probably won't return.

Just showed up for my 5pm reservation (made about a week ago) to an empty room with no lights on, and no staff. The waitress from downstairs asked if we had a reservation. We confirmed that we did for 5pm. She then asked us what time it was. Which was odd because it was 5pm on the dot. The owner was nice enough to offer to seat us but it was very disconcerting. Maybe we'll try again someday. Wish I could comment on the food, I'd been excited to eat here.

Service good. Food was excellent and well presented. We really enjoyed the unique menu. Fresh biscuits were warm. All great

Absolutely fantastic!! The food was incredible and my Buddy and I ordered as much off the menu as we could.. just to try the different dishes.The burger has to be the best burger I’ve ever had in my life from any restaurant.The jambalaya is outstanding and the Cajun pulled pork poutine left me in a Homer Simpson drooling moment.Laura our server was beyond helpful and welcoming ..she made our first time in the restaurant a fantastic one.The guys and gals in the kitchen put out perfection ! Awesome!I will be returning next week with a bunch of friends for a group outing.I don’t normally post about restaurants but had to take this moment to say how impressed I am with Cajun on King and the staff are amazing !!Thank you so muchCheers Roddy

My husband and I are from NYC , we came to Canada to site see and found this place to eat. We should’ve known it wasn’t good since it was completely empty, however we still wanted to give it a try. The food was cold and had no flavor, and a very small portion was given. Wouldn’t try it at all again. The witness was nice thought.
