In terms of services they get you set up with they're great however I'm not sure why they're doing business with DMS property management as the reviews for that company are horrible and I as a resident can confirm its terrible. My place has flooded multiple times include water coming from an over head lighting fixture. I made Halton region aware of this as DMS did nothing other than bringing something to dry the carpet. Nothing was done to the lighting fixture and you can often smell the mold in my place. I was told to clean up the black mold in other areas myself. I asked for a transfer they offered me a different unit still at DMS, why would want to stay here when the same thing happens in other units? I'm worried about the long term effects of long term mold exposure for myself and my family. Had this not happened multiple times I'd give 3 stars but this is ridiculous no one needing housing should ever have to deal with this.

it's called a waiting list which has 5+ years waiting listthe rules are the ontario housing act 2011halton gets to add on some local rules called the halton rgi guide 2021 local ruleswhat's new, before when occupants became overhoused,meaning a resident moved outthe unit has an extra room but does not move out as they are put on a list of 3 locations and can turn down smaller units 2 times without having to move outthis prevented people needing to be housedthere were empty bedrooms everywherenow all these over housed units have to choose 5 units and if they refuse one when offered.they lose their subsidy or pay market rentthis should free up available units over housed quickly

Applied for subsidized housing in 2015. 7 yrs have passed still waiting for a house for my 4 school attending children. Whenever I call them , get same answer , we never know yet.
