Food was okay service was not. Went for lunch, and restaurant was not busy. Waited over 30 minutes for our food while watching people came in after us got served. Inquired about it with the waitress and got told that the food will come together once ready. Which I thought is odd and not what I saw happened to other tables. Well, the food did not come together like I was told. I don't mind the wait but I don't appreciate being blatantly lied to in the face.

We had birthday dinner celebration with my family and the food was fantastic. The place was clean and the food arrived quickly, hot and fresh. We had lots to eat and very satisfied with the taste! Wonton soup, chicken fried rice, sweet & sour chicken and beef & noodles. We definitely recommend and will come back soon.

Absolutely delicious, new favourite spot for dim sum! There was no line at 12pm on a Saturday, everything was so fresh and the services was impeccable. Can’t wait to go back, have been looking for a good dim sum spot for years!

My friend and I are dim sum lovers and used to frequently eat at Hung Sum, the dim sum spot that used to be at this address. We were excited to try Asia Pacific for the first time!!!We ordered seven dishes. Three were edible, fine, but not especially tasty (fried shrimp ball, rice noodle roll with BBQ pork, stuffed eggplant).Four were undercooked and/or raw and/or inedible. The har gao, for example, had frozen gray shrimps inside it. The cilantro dumplings tasted literally rotten. The chiu chow dumplings were served cold. The fried triangle (sometimes know as fried football) had raw, floury cold dough and a gray mass of uncooked meat inside.The waiter was not especially apologetic… He told us that the chef was ‘very busy’, but the restaurant was only at 25% capacity.I am considering calling the food safety board… I wish I had thought to take photos.

First time trying this new place, since it replaced hung sum, which was arguably one of the best dim sum restaurants in the city. Not sure what happened or where they went, but they will be missed. The replacement place was clean, but less than half full with no food on any of the tables when we arrived and people anxiously looking to have something served to them.We had read the reviews of posters experiences and thought we’d test it for ourselves.Service was very, very slow, the quality of the dim sum was average it appears that some of it has probably been premade and frozen, others were well over cooked and falling apart (rice noodle rolls and har gow) . The people working there seemed nice enough, but overwhelmed even with only a few tables.When we were told we had all of our dishes that we had ordered we went to the counter to pay, reviewing the receipt we realized that we had not received three of the 10 dishes that we had ordered. Pointed this out to the owner, they denied it saying that we absolutely received them, we did not. We paid regardless , it wasn’t worth the argument.Slow service, average to less than average quality food, that really was closer to Food Court dim sum than sit down dining and paying for items we didn’t receive, my guess is this will be a short-lived restaurant. There are better options elsewhere in the city.

This restaurant is actually genuinely good. We’ve been coming to the previous dim-sum restaurant, that was at this location for years and wanted to try this new one. The owner is very pleasant, the service was fast and the food was fresh, hot and really good tasting. By Ottawa dim-sum standards, it was very, very good.

Great spot for all day Dim Sum. Dumplings arrived promptly, were scorchingly hot and delicious. Notable star were the Kwai Lin Shrimp Balls! Crispy, fried and fresh.Huge portions and reasonable prices. We sampled a dozen menu items and rolled away feeling grand.A great replacement for the recently closed Hung Sum.

I cannot believe this replaced Hung Sum Dim Sum.The shrimp siu Mai broke apart easily when we picked it up with chopsticks. The chiu chow fun gor (one of my fave dim sum dishes) had no peanuts/almonds and no sauces inside, and instead you just taste the celery inside it. The fookin rice dish was okay, but for 15-16 dollars you feel like you can go somewhere else for fried rice.The service is whatever. It was non existent, and mind you we were the only customers at the time, aside from a couple. I believe the FOH was busy doing other things, being that the restaurant opened just recently, so theres that, HOWEVER it's pretty concerning if they cannot even check up on us to refill our water EVEN ONCE.please please please don't go here! I have no idea what the other reviews are saying, but go to other places for dim sum!
