We used Splinter Carpentry to install a new large bedroom window, and replace damaged exterior vinyl siding. Chad is professional, knowledgeable, and will patiently walk you through all the options before you are ready to make a decision. Fair prices, honest assessments, and a generally nice guy. He definitely has our business for future window/door/siding replacement.

We are extremely happy with the work that Chad and Liam did replacing our siding and the window trim. When we called Chad he came promptly and temporarily fixed the issue to prevent further damage (he even sprayed a wasps nest that we didn’t know about). He took the time to explain the issues and propose solutions. We also asked for a quote to replace our front door, he was honest and advised that we wait because the door prices had increased exponentially during the pandemic. Chad is professional, hard-working, knowledgeable and just a really nice person. We highly recommend Splinter Carpentry and intend to have them back to do more work in the future.

Finding a good tradesman has always been a crapshoot. Some don’t call back, don’t show up when they are supposed to, don’t finish on time, run over budget and do substandard work. Not Splinters!!! Splinter Carpentry did an incredible job putting up new vinyl siding and installation on the second story of our home! Chad is a very hardworking, reliable, and honest contractor.
