The customer service was amazing. However personally the food was a little lacking in flavor( especially for the price) and just overall lacking in portion size. I purchased the 5 course meal, and still left the restaurant a bit hungry. I would recommend sticking to the rolls for overall value and taste economy.

All the food was very tasty and you can tell that there is a lot of thought put into preparing every dish. As in the ingredients complimented each other very well, I absolutely loved the salad. They used this sweet Asian tasting sauce for it where the flavour was simply amazing. The way that they cooked and prepared the wagyu was also really good, with the perfect amount of sauces used. Service was great and our server was super nice, she recommended lots of good sake.My only complaint is that the uni was not fresh, but that was the only thing that tasted terrible out of everything that was ordered.

Everything in the restaurant since arrival until a full stomach is whao. Food is amazing, services and staff are nice, friendly, respectful and very knowledgeable. All meal are amazing. Prices, quality and quantity are friendly. I definitely recommend this place. The best are the sushi. Definitely have to try. It is melting in my mouth.

dishes looked nice; sushi was good; but in my opinion this does not live up to the hype and/or the high price tag. We tried the wagyu steak here, which was a bit chewy, and defi could be better

After celebrating a few occasions at Miku in previous years, we were excited to visit Minami. We had a wonderful grad dinner celebration a few nights ago. We tried a variety of dishes including miso, brussel sprouts chips, aburi ribeye, premium oshi trio, premium sashimi and pineapple coconut cheesecake and cardamom chamomile panna cotta. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere was relaxing. While majority of the service was great, I ranked it as a 4 due to a few sloppy instances including the dessert message erroneously being written out as a “Happy Birthday” instead of graduation. Definitely a higher price point but worth it for special occasions.

Excellent sushi, touch pricey for the portion sizes but the quality is definitely there. The non alcoholic mock tails were very good. The pressed sushi was easily the best thing we had, highly recommended

Minami is definitely one of the best Japanese & sushi spots in town! Try their selection of aburi and rolls and you won’t be disappointed! The quality of all their food is amazing and the service is 5/5. Highly recommend the ebi fritters, tuna tartar and any of the aburi options. Our server, Taylor, was super friendly and deserves a shout out for making the birthday dins a special evening! It’s a pricey restaurant but worth it! Try to reserve a spot on their patio if you can.

I love the variety of food and drinks at Minami! It makes a great place to celebrate special occasions with a group or even just for lunch. On my last visit, my server mentioned she had been working there for 7 years and she had amazing recommendations. We tried the Tomato Salad which ended up being one of our favourites for the evening! Highly recommend it. I also love all their seafood selections. You can’t go wrong! Each time I visit, I always make sure to get sashimi. Service is top notch from waiters and managers.

As a tourist visiting this restaurant Enjoyed the atmosphere however service was a negative experience due to waitress was more concerned about her tips than listening to customers. Waitress intentionally ignored me when I asked for the check. I left this restaurant unhappy. Food was decent but too much rice used to overcompensate for the sushi.
