Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing

Poor service. I looked them up on internet and it clearly states they are servicing the area of Greenbank. When I called they wouldn't go there, their cut off point is now Coupeville. Bad form to advertise that you cover an area and then it turns out you don't!

Barron provided annual maintenance on heart pumps at our two houses on Orcas Island. The technician, Scott, was excellent. He arrived on time and very professionally worked on our units. He explained everything clearly and I am happy to give him a five star rating. We will continue to work with Barron in the future.

Our experience is beyond our expectations. Barron replaced our furnace, air conditioning unit and thermostat. The new system meets everything that was promised, plus so much more. Every representative from Barron's was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Jon and Nathan were efficient, respectful of us and our home, cleaned up when they were finished and could not have been more professional in everything they did. We highly recommend using Barron's for every applicable need in your home. They will not disappoint!

Hired Barron for a furnace installation that required additional pipe and duct work. Unfortunately, the initial installation had poor and short-sighted workmanship. The techs left a pretty decent mess inside and outside the house, including putty caked into carpets and on floors. They also removed some hardware from our walls (curtain brackets, etc): these they never replaced and are still missing. Pipes were creaky and installed poorly, and the furnace vent whistled like a tea kettle. We followed up with Barron and they sent another, more experienced, tech to evaluate the initial work and repair what he could, which fixed some of the problems. We had questions about warranty, and phoned the warranty office, but still have not heard back from them concerning our questions.I will say that Cheryl in the scheduling office was very helpful to us in getting our city inspections set up, so a big thank you to her.But overall, we weren't impressed with the quality or value of the work and we cannot say we'd recommend this business in the future. We appreciate that they came out and repaired some of the initial work, but overall this has been kind of a hassle with the final product being still pretty sloppy for the amount of money it cost us to get it done.

I had major issues with my duct work due to the low quality construction of my home and the previous owners allowing an infestation of rodents to go unchecked. After doing my research about ducting I realized that I needed to replace my branch lines, have my ducting cleaned and would benefit greatly from the Aeroseal service.I contacted Barron Heating about having all these tasks completed and they sent out a Grant Albert, the service rep for my area. Grant was very thorough, inspecting my furnace and duct work and educating me about the services and prices. When I realized that I wasn’t going to be able to afford having the duct work replaced by Barron and probably would have to do it myself, Grant didn’t balk. He just informed me of the tools and supplies I would need and showed me how to attach the flexible ducting properly, which gave me confidence that I could do it. While I was doing the project, anytime I had a question or needed additional materials I would just call Grant and he’d walk me through the problem or arrange for the supplies to be delivered to my nearest store for pick-up.When the time came to have the ducts cleaned and sealed, Noah Higashi and Bill Pinnell did a stellar job. They were very organized and clean and more than a few times gave me an opportunity to learn about the different processes and alerted me to potential problems regarding my system. They worked very efficiently together and I was impressed with how much work it took to clean the ducts and prepare for the sealant. When I saw how much they had to do I really felt like I got a very fair price on the services.The duct sealing was an incredible procedure. Not only did it seal my trunk and branch lines but it also sealed my air return. The initial test showed that from all the different leaks in my system I had the equivalent of a 9” diameter hole! It took a while to seal it all up and even though I was the last job on the Wednesday before their Thanksgiving Holiday I never felt like they rushed or were in a hurry. Even after they had finished the Aeroseal process, Noah took the time to seal the duct boots around the floor making my system even more efficient.Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of service I received from Barron Heating. Everyone I dealt with, whether it was in person or on the phone, was polite and helpful. I’ve never before looked forward to seeing my heating bill but I am now knowing just how much better my whole system is performing.P.S. One more thanks for the service technician Lane for working me into your schedule and giving my system one last quick additional check.

They were on time, even a bit early, and very pleasant to work with. They know their stuff. They were very helpful and answered all my questions.

Daniel McCoy and Caleb S were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They called us to let us know they were going to be a little late, one of their customers did not have any heat at all. We did not mind at all and we were happy they gave us a courtesy call. They did an outstanding job explaining about the REME HVAC HALO 24V Air Purification System Light. They told us what types of allergens, bacteria and viruses it can kill and how much it will cost to install and the cost of the light bulb. They showed us how they installed the unit and how to replace the light once it burns out. They were both efficient and considerate, and answered all of our questions about the product. We did purchase the produce because my husband and daughter do have bad allergies. We also inquired how much it would cost to install an air conditioner. Daniel gave us an estimate and told us when is the best time to have the air-conditioner installed. We were very happy with their customer service and we highly recommend Barron Heating.

The Technician, Ryan, was on time, professional, friendly and obviously interested in my getting the best service for the best price. Give him a raise.

We had a long overdue heat pump installed at our house on Camano Island today. Ricky, Andrew and Dave did a great job and were very enjoyable to be around. We are extremely happy with the end result. I have already given my neighbor a recommendation to upgrade their system and they will most likely call Barron. Thanks again to Ricky, Andrew, and Dave!

It has taken me longer than I wanted. So so sorry to Bob and Casey.They came out on time, answered all my questions, even complimented us for having our heat pump filters cleaned already.Bob explained the remote and how best it is to run the unit. In thisday of technology (even the remote) can have too many buttons to push and when you others in the house, it can be confusing for all torun the system.Their appearance was professional. Uniforms were great. Attentionto me/my concerns was great.
