Downriver Refrigeration Supply

Needed a capacitor for our furnace, Downriver Refrigeration Supply was the only place around that had the part. The price was more than fair and I was in and out in under 10min time. Very fast and friendly service.

First year in my house and getting ready to turn on the furnace. I called with questions regarding my Honeywell electronic air cleaner. The man on the phone answered all my questions and was very thorough. Great help! Thanks.

After I called ahead and asked for them to wait a few minutes as I was stuck in traffic I was told no we close at 5. So I hauled ads and I pulled in the lot at 4:58 only to find the employees in their cars leaving. I pointed out on my phone that it was a minute to 5. The manager yelled through a partially opened window it's 5 n we leave at 5" then drove off. I promise you I will never spend another penny of mine here. Would rather drive an hour and give my business to a company who puts it customers first than to set foot in this store again. That was quite possibly the rudest treatment I have ever received. If this is how you treat customers I cannot believe you've been open as long as you have an assure you that if you keep treating people this way you won't be in business much longer. If your planning a trip here soon I strongly suggest going elsewhere. People like this don't deserve to be in business. Oh yea I went as far as offering 20 extra for someone to...n they knew I was on my way and still closed their doors early. Real nice."

Ignition that costs $20 online and they sell it for $40 in other local places. This location wants $65 for it and they were laughing when I asked why is it so much here. I understand that a local business can’t compete with online whole dealers but this place is ridiculously expensive.

Rudest customer service I've ever experienced!! Tried to return a part (with the receipt) that my husband didn't end of needing after all. First he gives me a hard time because it was purchased at another location and when I asked what that matters as I work in this area He says it doesn't he just doesn't like taking his" stuff (meaning the other location). Then when he asked for the visa to refund it I told him it's my husbands card so I was told just get the cash for it OR store credit and the clerk says to me "oh I don't think so. Nice try". Nice try?? So I have a part in the box with a receipt that was purchased days ago and he's not only going to return in but imply that I'm somehow trying to scam him because I don't have my husbands visa he put it on?? Will NEVER buy from this company or the other locations after this."

Bought a hot surface igniter to replace the broken one in my furnace, got home late and took it out of the box to test it before installing. Only to find it failed the continuity test. The store was closed at this point, so I figure probably a faulty part. Brought it into the store to discover that part of the coil was broken. They refused to take the part back, claiming he couldn’t warranty it out. I ask how he didn’t know it wasn’t sold broken or a manufacturer defect, said it wasn’t possible because of how it sits in the box. If though that doesn’t mean it wasn’t broken at the manufacturer and shipped to his store in that manner.Make sure you check your parts before leaving this store...because they will use any excuse to avoid a refund/exchange. That will be the last dime they get from me.

After my heating and cooling guy told me 6 to 8 weeks to get a new motor ..one call to these guys saved the day!!! Excellent service..thank you guys!!!!!!

Open when it was -30 degrees. Got parts quick. Got very large part selection. Quick test v service with a smile. Great guys. Got a coffee station for your enjoyment. Would recommend for a friend co-workers. Would go back
