Just got two of these chairs at Rona. I am really happy with the way they went together. Very good fit to all the parts. i also like that the pine is clear of knots. Nice to support an Ontario company as well. Overall highly recommended and thanks to the people that put this kit together.

Called Diana up to ask about the warranty on my Costco fire pit (which I love). She said I could pick it up from their place or may have to pay for shipping. I said I would come up. I told her I loved my fire pit to which she said they have another one for $150 advertised on Facebook Marketplace. It only looked okay but what the heck I asked for one. She was at the door when I got their with the my warranty part and the new firepit. It weighed 88 pounds. Solid. I have used it five times and know this will last. It looks much better than the Facebook Marketplace picture they used by far. I am done with the garbage Canadian Tire and Walmart fire pits that last two years if you are lucky. This is easily worth well over $350. Very solid. My wife complained about the weight of the cover/screen but that shows it will last and she may have been whining to not have to work other than lift a glass of wine. Their oversized round fire pits are almost as good and look better but this is a lot less money and will probably last longer. I didn't even look at the chairs, maybe next time. Took a trip through Algonquin Park on the way back to make it a day. Not a short trip but worth it.Thank you Diana and the Bear Chair Company.John.

I bought 3 Muskoka chair kits from Lowe's Hamilton, manufactured by The Bear Chair Co. All pieces were well designed and manufactured, fit perfectly, and very easy to assemble. I would suggest to not use their printed instructions but instead watch their YouTube video which was much more informative and helpful (I am a visual learner!). One of the chair arms had a 2 cut

I ordered the Muskoka Chair footstool which was purchased through Rona and produced by The Bair Chair Co. I was extremely pleased with how quickly the stools were delivered and the quality of the what I ordered. We had to assemble but it was super easy. The pieces were numbered and evn outlined so you knew exactly where they went together. The quality of the footstool is good, strong and exactly what I wanted. The price was excellent too! I would definitely order again from this company.

Customer service is amazing. Called in as the Uncoated Pine Wood Chair Kit I ordered from Costco had a crack in the armrest. They took my address and promised to send me a replacement armrest shortly. No need to provide proof of purchase or even pictures.The chair itself looks amazing and was pretty easy to assemble. Some of the cuts of wood are a bit rough from a worn out saw blade but generally the cuts are good and even.Definitely happy Costco picked these guys up and don't regret the purchase at all.

April 27, 2015.Picked up a pine Muskoka Bear Chair kit at Costco in Etobicoke. ($50)All parts are pre drilled and easy to assemble with good instructions.The pine boards are 7/8 thick and pre sanded.I recommend sanding the edges and applying a stain to Finnish.I've bought two other Muskoka / Adirondack chair kitsbut this Bear Chair has the best design for sure.I'll be picking up another."

Fantastic service. Ordered 3 chairs in the Netherlands EU. The arm chairs were damaged by shipping and with no questions we received new ones. Fantastic chairs great service.

I have several of these chairs some with the table in between some single with ottoman. I recently purchased another and had a damaged part. I just called customer service they sent me a replacement within 3 days! Wow great product, great friendly customer care and service. Kits were easy to put together, pre drilled and easy to follow instructions. Good to support a Canadian company.....THANKYOU.

Not an easy build. Assembled two chairs and there were parts missing in both kits, instructions were not detailed enough and there are some unfortunate design oversights. The back boards didn’t line up at the bottom when the top is lined up (the curve had had to be eyeballed). I’m surprised to see so many 5-star reviews.
