Oliver's Power Vacuum & Chimney Sweep Inc.

Took two weeks to receive a reply regarding services requested. Had to schedule with a competitor of Oliver's. Instead of an apology or explanation why the tardiness, I was offered a rude response.I definitely do not recommend this company, especially with the competition available on the Island.

We had our ducts cleaned, our crawlspace power vacuumed and our dryer vent cleaned out. The entire process was excellent, from the initial phone contact, the estimate, to the job completion. After the ducts were cleaned we noticed an incredible difference in the air quality immediately. Even the smell was different. I've been living with a stuffy nose for years and it began to clear within hours. We were amazed and shocked to see that the pile of dryer fluff that was removed was at least 2 feet high. I appreciated that Richard and Tyler gave us tips to help keep the air in our home cleaner. They also used corner protectors to ensure our walls were not marked up. Several neighbours recommended Oliver's to us and we will do the same. Excellent service from a local business that exceeded our expectations in every way.

They came to my house twice the first time they inspected the duct and cleaned the chimney in the process the one labour put his tool box in my kitchen table and scratched it ! I was not happy but gave them another chance and called them this past season to do the chimney job again! The day they camel there was a storm and so they said they had to do it from the inside ! In the process they knocked the cap off the top but didn’t tell me so when he packed his stuff out I thought he was finished and light the stove back up ! I saw him grab a latter and climb back up on the roof so I called him to ask what he was doing I thought he was finished! He said the cap came off that it wasn’t secured properly the last time it was done !! I said well you guy were the ones who did it last time so it was one of you guys then ! Because the fire was light he said he would put loose for then and come back later in the week and fix it ! I was working away and assumed the he was good to his word on it !! Two days ago it blew off I phoned them the girl said she can get me in till the end of the month so now because they never fixed it rain getting it the chimney! I am so u impressed with the whole thing!! First my table then the cap and there trying to blame it on weather and whatever instead of just coming back to do what they said they would totally unprofessional I think!!

This company serviced my mother's dryer vent in March 2020 and I would just like to let everyone know that they did an absolutely outstanding job oh, they were extremely friendly and my mother felt very comfortable having them on her property doing the job.We feel the job was done well and would recommend this company to everybody.CLAY-NOR lawn and garden Incorporated of Campbell River fully supports this business. The guys showed up, very friendly and professional, were conscious of the environment they were working in, AND worked around our schedule to make this happen. They also clean up any mess that is left behind as well. Always a pleasure to work with the staff at Olivers!

Recently moved to the Valley and needed our ducts, dryer vents and chimney cleaned and these guys did a fantastic job. Office staff was eager to answer any questions I had in a timely fashion. The crew was clean and professional, I will be calling Oliver's again no question!

Just had these folks clean my ducting which was .....overdue.UBER professional crew.This local business was referred to us by coworkers which is always the BEST and most credible advertising.The crew was friendly, professional and patient taking the time to explain the process vice just coming in and “doing the job”.They also hi-lighted a couple potential issues with my furnace that I should be aware of for the future which was above and beyond the call.Finally, they did not try to OVERSELL the service by telling me that I should get the service performed annually.I highly recommend Oliver’s and will be using them again for my next duct cleaning.
