Wedgewood Hotel & Spa

What a fantastic hotel! Front desk attendant was so personable. Room was incredibly clean and well appointed and very quiet... Loved the balcony. Location was perfect for our theatre night out.

Located next to Robson Square. The doreman and the reception staff are very friendly.Nevertheless the hotel was great. Big rooms very clean. And every night, new water with some sweets. Housekeeping staff had even time to have a small chat with you about your plans or that they were glad to have us. All in all the stay was very comfortable and it was a pleasure.

We held a 2-day company workshop for 27 people in April and everything the hotel did was outstanding. This was the easiest event I have planned due to the communication and organization from the event staff. The meeting room was set up perfectly for our group and the catering over the two days was amazing. The kitchen also carefully took care of several of our attendees with food allergies. I could not find fault with anything. The service throughout the two days was 10/10. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel also arranged for our 27 guests to have dinner at Bacchus restaurant, and again, the food and service was incredible. Would I recommend the Wedgewood Hotel and Spa? Absolutely! Whether for a corporate event or for a personal getaway. We've held several events in Vancouver, and I without a doubt, we will look to book with the Wedgewood Hotel in the future.

I was really impressed with the service. All the staff we encountered was so friendly and made our experience that much better! The turn down service with a little treat is a nice surprise when you come back in the evening. They had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, would definitely recommend to friends.

The hotel is dated and would benefit from a remodeling. Great location. Staff were very responsive, room was clean, valet helpful, restaurant was very good. Constant noise heard in the room even when it should have been quit at night. We made complaints every day and they checked it and verified the problem, but they could not find the source or fix it.

I had a lovely breakfast at the restaurant. The food was amazing and the service very friendly and professional. This place has a nice atmosphere, classy but not too posh. It's a great restaurant to go to celebrate an anniversary or birthday.

The room was dated but it was clean and well maintained. The staff service wasn't the best especially the valet parking. I love going to Relais & Chateaux hotels, but this one wasn't amazing. The restaurant had a great foods with live piano music in the evening. I recommend the restaurant more than the hotel itself.

This is a five star Relais and Chateau property, which the Wedgewood seems quite proud of; I prefer boutique hotels to corporate as they tend to have more history/charm and the Wedgewood did not disappoint. The location is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious throughout (especially the bath, bed, and furniture, being the most important). I ordered the Charcuterie board and chocolate strawberries pre-arrival and had to repeat the Charcuterie board as it was delicious. The amenities and service are where the hotel really shines from the concierge, front desk, spa, turndown/housekeeping, etc. I don't usually write in suggestions as these could be misconstrued so firstly let me say I enjoyed my stay, would stay again, and do recommend The Wedgewood. Having said that, here goes: none of the in room snacks or beverages were complementary (which are at some five star hotels, but not others) and some could've been higher end (think kit kats and pringles instead of artisan local snacks/black truffle oil chips and fine chocolates, which would be an improvement for next time), perhaps a complementary guest lounge (separate from Bacchus), the addition of bath salt/oil to the room amenities (although its possible this is available I did not ask), an option for e-bikes would be an improvement, a steamier steam room would be a plus, where the wall paper meets in the ceiling in my bathroom was not completely flush (not peeling just imperfect). Overall, the Wedgewood is a classic boutique five star hotel that met all my expectations and has the charm of an established social/country club or a hotel like the Plaza (of Eloise fame). Exceptional service in my experience was on point and The Wedgewood delivers a strong experience (not just at time of guest interaction but shows throughout the property) which is notable (however, consistency is the mark; I trust consistency will be met for my welcome back to Vancouver).

We just finished our Spring Break ‘Staycation’ and cannot gush enough about the service, luxury and hospitality of the Wedgwood Hotel and Spa. From the moment we checked in and was surprised with an upgrade to a palatial suite to the welcome chocolates and the turn down service and fresh cookies each night everything was 11/10! We appreciated the personal welcome by name every time we came in and out to after hours access to the steam room and lounge. We enjoyed afternoons at Bacchus even just to unwind from our busy day. Staff is lovely and helpful and that is enough reason for us to return very soon!

Ryan at the front desk is very friendly, was surprised with a couple of cookies and water after we arrived. Bacchus restaurant is very cozy and the pianist is fabulous. The massages at the spa were excellent except they had some kind of fan running that sounded broken and it was overrunning the spa music. Lovely bubbly and strawberries while we sat in lounge. It’s a cozy and chic boutique hotel!
