The best service I have ever received from any Service Ontario locations!I had an appointment at 9:35 in the morning, and was surprised by the number of people were waiting there.But they called me at exact time, I didn’t even wait and got the best service!I am not sure why this lcoation has a lower rating on google maps, but my experience was really great and much better than expected.

In a gawd-awful sorry state (even 3rd-world countries do wildly better than this!). It's a well located office, but totally useless for the citizens of Toronto that pay for their service".They have some 40 or 50 service booths

Kudos to the staff at the 777 Bay St. Location. Went on July 5th 2023 to get my health card and driver's license renewed. I didn't have a prior appointment and seeing the line-up, I was pretty sure I might not be attended to. The staff turned the game on its head, acted with a sense of urgency and I was called at 5.30 pm to the counter. They did not send anyone home disappointed.WELL PLAYED team! You all were awesome and I appreciate you all.

I came here a few weeks ago without an appointment on a Thursday at 11am, to get both my health card and Ontario ID card renewed. I was definitely in and out within 15 minutes, I don't think I've ever experienced this before at a Service Ontario. Granted, there was a snowstorm that probably worked in my favour, but the lady at the counter was also super nice and made the process extremely easy for me.The negative reviews definitely made me dread coming in, and I was prepared to be forced to wait 3 hours to be seen, but I guess I got lucky. Thank you for the great service!

This location does the OHIP for work permit holders, it is recommended to take an appointment prior for a quick service.This location separate queues for the candidates with and without appointment. Applying for OHIP will be super quick if you have an appointment along with required documents. Please check the specific requirements before booking a slot or visiting. Almost 2h of wait to have a service of less than 5 min. Unfortunately I didn't schedule an appointment. If you have a work permit and need to renew your OHIP this is one of the few locations doing it. In my case it wasn't a renewal because my work permit was the same, only the card expiration couldn't be the same of my WP. In my case they didn't need to see any document, only my OHIP and adjust that internally. I

Lineup in the morning at 830 am was about 30 people.Excellent work by staff to speak to everyone in line to make sure they brought all their documents and weren't wasting their time lining up. Kind, patient and understanding to new comers and seniors.Make sure you read the website to ensure you have the right documents for what you need. Saw many people turned away because they did not have acceptable proof of address or employment letter.

I had a great experience today at Service Ontario, College Park. I arrived at 8:30AM opening time & was surprised to see the long line up, about 45 people ahead of me. Service Ontario staff were always around if anyone had questions. I waited in the line-up for 1/2 hr. & then 1hr. to see the clerk in the numbered windows. I was not in a rush & met a lovely person sitting beside me. The clerk who helped me was clear & concise, professional & friendly. I had all the relevant documents so no issues. Thank you to the wonderful clerk. Service Ontario at College Park does a great job!ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!

Make an appointment - you’ll be thankful you did. I had an appointment to renew my drivers license, when I showed up, I was apprehensive because there was a long line to check in and a lot of people sitting in the waiting area. However, after checking in I went to sit down and then right on time for my appointment, my number was called. The person I spoke to was incredibly helpful and great to deal with. I had a separate appointment to renew my health card a couple days later, she asked if I needed to renew my health card, after I said yes, she offered to take care of that right then as well, saving me a trip.Great experience and couldn’t have gone better.

Honestly not quite sure why the rating of this place is so low. Yes, it’s almost impossible to score an appointment, and yes, if you come without one, you need to be prepared to wait for at least an hour. If you set your expectations correctly and grab a drink and a good book time will fly by very quickly. Most of the staff I’ve encountered is professional and friendly, there are enough seats to fit a lot of people and they provide tons of important bureaucratic services at one place. So overall: yeah, the system definitely can work better, but it’s not that horrible and helps you get your stuff done.
