We would like to share our experience for those who are on the fence about VanGATE. If you're looking for a contractor that cares, I would go with VanGATE. David, the owner, was thoroughly communicative from the beginning to the end. If there was an issue, I could easily reach him and he usually responded by end of day. He was also accommodative- (for example, he added an extra piece to the gate for us after we found a gap near a railing we hadn't thought of- at no extra charge!) He also supplied us with keypads and when our electrical supply needed to be rewired (more complex work), he didn't start talking to us about extra charges- he simply liaised with the electrician and they got it done for us. Finally, let's talk about the quality of their gates. It was fabricated so well! You can take a look at the photo attached. The motor, if you're wondering, is an Italian model. We immediately received compliments from our neighbors the day it was installed. We have no issues recommending David and VanGATE to others. Thank you!

My garage door was extremely wired for couple years and was checked by many garage company, but nobody can deal with that problem until I met David, a really nice expert from VanGATE, he drove to north shore and spent whole afternoon to fix my strange garage door perfectly. Until now my garage door works so smoothly and old problem never happens again, really thankful to David and VanGATE. High Recommend!

David and his team at VanGATE did a great job on our gate, even though to be honest, we didn't really know what we were doing except having a vague idea of what we wanted. It is hard sometimes as a homeowner because you don't know the way things are done so you need to trust someone like VanGATE who will make sure you are happy at the end of the day and will answer your questions and requests.thank you David, we are enjoying our gate very much.

I called them when it was almost 5 pm, raining heavily, with my garage door open ugly. They sent Kevin in two hours and fixed it in less than one an hour! Very satisfied!

David and his team, including Kevin are extremely professional, skilled and very knowledgeable. We needed a new gate operator comprising controller and swing arm to be coupled to our existing electric lock; Jenny provided an immediate quote on receipt of e-mailed photographs. The work was completed 2 days later. Upgrades were provided at no extra cost and their quotation was highly competitive to begin with. This is an honest competent Company you can rely on. I have no hesitation in recommending their services unequivocally.

Best of all, Italian motor with whisper quiet opening/closing, super smooth operation, just love it.Jimmy and the installation team were very professional. WOW! What a great experience!! our gate was damaged by garbage truck, and it was painful to get the adjustment from ICBC, Vangate worked with us along the way, and tonight the NEW GATE was installed! Vangate rush the work in two weeks instead of 9 weeks wait, I am very happy and will highly recommend this company, especially for commercial properties and property managers.
