We were looking for somewhere nice for my moms 60ths birthday and stumbled upon Lakeside Chophouse. We got a table outside facing the mountains and it was spectacular, a memory she will remember and love forever. The service was amazing, 3 of their staff came out singing Happy Birthday for us with a candle in the dessert we ordered. Now the food, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The burger was dry, the crab cakes weren't crispy or tasty, the only thing was good was their seafood pasta dish. I think next time I'd try one of the other restaurants facing the lake/mountains but the rest of the experience makes me want to give it 4 stars.

The atmosphere was very cozy, the music was in the background but you could hold a conversation. The food was hot and tasty, lots of GF options. Our server Nathan was amazing he knew about food allergies, checked up on us but not over the top very sincere.

It's one of our favorite places to dine at Waterton. The staff are friendly and the food was good. The lobster and shrimp linguini was good but a bit oily when you reached the bottom of the dish. The duck penne was really good, and the chophouse sushi roll was also very tasty. The roll had a nice crunch, great texture and flavour with the sauce and ingredients seemed fresh, especially the fish. The sauce complemented the steak in the centre and the other ingredients very well. My dad ordered the salmon and really liked the sauce and said the loaded potato was very flavourful. The Kung pao bowl was the least favorite. The ingredients seemed fresh, but my mother in law found it to be a bit bland for her liking.

My mom and I went to the lakeside chophouse as we've never been and was our first time in waterton park, the food was really good! I got the Buddha bowl which was amazing, lots of variety! My mom got the new york striploin 10oz steak and she loved it , was cooked to perfection for an appetizer we got the house made crab cakes, very tasty! The cheesecake was super delicious as well! Would definitely recommend!

I can not recommend this restaurant enough. The food was amazing. My steak was done to perfection. I actually whispered ‘oh my god’ after my first bite is cheesecake.The restaurant was beautiful and the view was amazing.The staff was wonderful, in particular, the waiter, Brad, he was so lovely, it made my night. He was charming, funny and accommodating. I was travelling alone, therefore, eating alone. He made me feel welcome and like I was dining somewhere that I had been a million times. Bravo, and thank you!

We had dinner on a Saturday night. It was reasonably busy. Food was excellent. Good wine selection. Service was good, other than we waited a bit to get our first interaction with the server. Really liked the music... it was instrumental versions of popular songs. Excellent room and atmosphere. Liked the table setting. The view was pretty cool, right on the lake.

We brought visiting friends over to eat at this place and they were astonished and pleased with the serving portions. The view was wonderful and the interior design and ambiance were cozy, classy, and tasteful. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a pleasant time.The washrooms were very clean and well maintained. I just thought I should put it out there. I have a thing where I get dismayed when an establishment’s washroom isn’t as well maintained as the lounge or dining areas. Kudos to the staff and management for keeping the state of cleanliness standard in all areas of the establishment.We will be back with more friends and family for sure.
