Rockmaple Kennels

We've been coming to Rockmaple Kennels for over 20 years for boarding and we got 2 of our labs here. For boarding I can tell you, you will have peace of mind while away knowing your precious furbaby is being well looked after, exercised and well loved. We fondly refer to it as Doggie Disney. For breeding, they are fantastic. Our male lab lived to be 15.5 years and healthy all that time. Our second lab is almost 10 months and she is perfect.

We’ve been bringing our lab to Rockmaple for the past 6 years. They have great rates, amazing care is given to all of the dogs; best of all, our dog comes home tired every time from all of the energy she outputs. I would recommend Peter and Rockmaple anytime!

They are fantastic to deal with. Always replied back to us super quick with any questions we had regarding our puppy. They are super highly recommended! We love our guy so much! He’s such a great puppy and you can definitely see he gets it from his fantastic parents! What I love is that they’ve been breeding labs for so long and know so much about their lineage and care so much. It’s not just a business for them!

The experience of getting a dog from Rockmaple was absolutely great! Their boarding and daycare options leave your pup good and tired from some walks down to the lake and playing in the yard. Would definitely get another lab from them!

After losing my faithful friend of almost 11 years in March this year, I started doing research on local Lab breeders. Rockmaple came highly recommended by my veterinarian and so I made an inquiry about a puppy. Fast forward 6 months and let me introduce Archie, the most loving, balanced, and extremely intelligent dog I could ever have wished for, oh, and did I mention handsome! From the first visit to Rockmaple, my husband and I were impressed with the family atmosphere and obvious love of the dogs Peter had. The kennels were clean and the puppies fat and happy. We were able to visit the pups each week and spend time sitting with them and handling them. We also met Peter's Dad, Arthur, on a couple visits who shared stories of litters past and present. We finally got to bring our puppy home and from the first walk we have had total strangers come up and comment what a beautiful dog he is and many ask if he is one of Peter's dogs. I have nothing but praise for Rockmaple. They love their dogs like family, and it shows through in the temperament and care they take to raise happy, healthy, stunning best friends. I highly recommend Rockmaple Kennels and if we ever need to leave Archie behind for a trip, I will be asking Peter to board him there as well. I know Archie will be loved and exercised and given lots of doggy play time and swims.

We have bought three of Peters and Arts Labs. Each one of them are healthy, are great with our kids and are full of love. So pleased with our three boys. Peter and Art have been fantastic too. Always available and have given us great advise on raising and taking care of our pups.

I have nothing but good things to say about Rockmaple Kennels. My black lab, Grover, is from there. Their dogs all have such a great demeanour, and anytime you haveany questions Peter is very responsive and helpful. Now Grover goes there regularly for boarding, and truly it is the best spot. The dogs spend lots of time outside off leash, and Peter is extremely flexible with pick up/drop off which is very helpful!

We made so many visits before getting our pup I was sure peter was going to get sick of us. But he was always welcoming, took so much time out of his day for us, and answered all of our questions. Our pup is six months now and is an absolute dream. Great temperament, smart, and so handsome. I recommend Rockmaple to anyone looking for an addition to their family.
