The Chopped Leaf

This is the third time I have been to this location and am still really impressed. The food is amazing but more importantly, the staff are without a doubt the best reason to come here. Always super friendly, welcoming and they just bring a smile to your face. Absolutely love it!

This place is amazing. I grabbed lunch here with my husband en route to YYC from Banff and I am so happy we did.FOOD: The menu is interesting and varied, with bowls, wraps, salads, and sandwiches. There were so many great options - I had a difficult time picking! We both ended up getting salads with chicken. Our salads were fresh, delicious, and generous in portion. The chicken, which is often an afterthought in salads, was grilled and flavorful. I'm picky about my salads and too often get salads with ingredients that just aren't fresh enough. None of that here. I told my husband that if we had this where we live in California, I would be a regular! This is so much better than the pricey alternatives we have in our neighborhood.SERVICE: We dined in and was surprised when we were served with real bowls and silverware. Given the prices, we were expecting a fast food meal. The staff member working was helpful in describing menu items and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was just right. I was already impressed with their service (and totally embarrassed I didn't tip more than I did once we were served). But the next part blows me away. Unfortunately, I left my purse in the restaurant that day and discovered it after I had boarded my flight back home. I called the restaurant and they confirmed they found it. Since then, I've been working with the store manager to get my purse shipped out to me. It's not an easy process since it's an international shipment that requires custom forms. Matthew, the store manager, has been so patient in working with me to make sure I get my bag back. I offered to pay for the trouble but he said there was no need.We need more businesses and restaurants like this. Calgarians - I am jealous! Please open a location in the San Francisco Bay Area!

Closed at 7pm?!No other chopped leaf closes that early.Congratulations on being the laziest owner for chopped leaf in Calgary.They are extremely cheap with the amount of Protein you get...for example you barely get a quarter of a chicken breast.What a joke..don't bother giving these guys your business.Response to response:Im sorry you believe that its just my expectations.Your the one missing out on revenue from people who have dinner past 7pm. Absolutely love this Chopped Leaf location. Staff are incredibly friendly and professional and the food is always fantastic!

First time here... Pleasantly surprised!! Had the DIY salad bowl with balsamic dressing. Chicken really stood out - extra delicious.The premises is also very nicely finished and clean.. Will come back!

With this visit we have now visited 22 different chopped leaf's in western Canada.The service was great, quick and cheerful. Our orders were prepared and served to our table quickly.The soup, Thai Curry, was tasty and hot which hit the spot on a day or was -35° C.My quesadilla was well prepared and tasty. My wife's Caesar salad was fresh and on point.

Their spicy chicken sandwich and Buffalo chicken sandwich are both excellent! A nice healthy option if you’re looking at food in this neighbourhood. The infused water with different fruit in ice water for $2 is a nice low calorie drink too. I just noticed you can buy their water bottle for $25 and get free infused water each visit which is cool.

Each time I choose this location to get my lunch they do a phenomenal job. The food is always delicious, perfect sauce and meat ratio, and my order is made very quickly. Matthew does a great job and my food always tastes good when he makes it compared to other locations. I wish they had a bigger seating area but otherwise no complaints.

Excellent menu items, very healthy choices. All the ingredients are really fresh. There is plenty of seating available. The washroom is clean. I also enjoyed the fresh Chopped Water. Highly recommended, would come again.
