Mel's Waggin Tail Inn

I have boarded my husky several times at Mel's Waggin Tail Inn. I find them to be very professional and I find my dog in good spirits when I pick her up. The good care of my dog at a kennell is important to me and I feel that my dog is well taken care of at Mel's. Also I find that their boarding rates are quite reasonable and staff are plesant and courteous.

My 7 month old Bernedoodle has been going to Mel’s for a few months now, usually once a week. We decided to bring him to daycare to meet and socialize with other puppies and humans. Cooper loves going and runs to the door as soon as he’s out of the car. On the way home, he fights to stay awake so I know he had a great time and was active all day. Thank you to Mel and her staff for giving Cooper a great experience every time!

Mel's Waggin Tail is by far the favorite place for our little fur boy Bailey.The first time we made a reservation, the amazing staff took the time to make us visit the entire place (it is always hard to bring your pup to a kennel not knowing how they are going to react on the first day of leaving them behind and for ourself to trust strangers to take care of our pup) it was very very clean and smell good. The little individual sleeping and napping place are big and look like little dog house and look cozy.We also had Bailey (the staff not our Bailey) to groom our little sheltie and he was sooo fluffy and cute when he got back home, so much more convenient to book a spa day for our boy on the last day of his stay so we can bring back a tired (from playing like crazy all week) and beautiful, fluffy boy back home.We also bring him just for doggy day care and overnight. He doesn't even look back to us when we leave him now, he run right to the back with the staff that he loves so much and can not wait to go play with his friends. The reports cards we get after his stays are so well done and a good idea.Mel's Waggin Tail team is beyond kind and affectionate, the second home to our little Bailey.Bailey's dads.

Fantastic customer service! It was the first time Lucy had ever been at a kennel and we were nervous about it. The staff was reassuring and kept in contact with us about how well she was doing. She had so much fun and we will definitely be bringing her back for overnight stays again and will also be sending her to day camp periodically for fun! Especially liked all the FB pics!!

Bogart's smile in this photo taken at Mel's during his last stay says it all. There online booking system couldn't be easier, their extreamly clean facilities are appreciated, and there responsive, friendly and caring staff are a joy to deal with every time. Bogart is always so excited when we turn the corner into Mel's parking lot and returns to us happy, healthy as well as nice and tired - a good state for an Airedale to be in.

My boxer puppy was first introduced to Mel’s at 5 months old. He was welcomed with joy, tenderness and attentiveness. Very professional team who genuinely care for the dogs. My puppy is almost a year old and cannot wait to join his furry friends on his weekly visits. A big kudos to Mel and her fabulous team. Top notch service.

Mel’s Waggin’ Tail Inn is a lifesaver for us and our new beagle puppy- Lucy.Lucy is high energy and was in desperate need of dog socialization. We brought Lucy to Mel’s and she (and we) LOVE it.Mel and her staff were amazingly patient with all of my first time doggie daycare questions and took the time to explain everything.They are super helpful and always gives me a rundown on how she did- it’s great to know that Lucy is getting the socialization and care she needs with a super attentive staff. Rates are very reasonable too.I would not hesitate to recommend Mel’s Waggin Tail in to anyone looking for some doggie daycare.

I've been sending my 10 month old pointer puppy to Mel's regularly for the last five months. Charlie loves the care and attention she receives there, and I love the socialization and exercise she gets. The staff at Mel's are patient with Charlie, as she is a fence climber and jumper. They have the utmost concern for her health and safety and I am grateful they watch her closely and do their best to correct her behaviour when she gets overly excited. Mel's has a fantastic facility (with a catch fence for those doggos who like to escape) but best of all, a patient and knowledgeable staff who understand pointers. Without Mel's, I am not sure Charlie would be as calm and well adjusted as she is. So grateful!!

My dog Hunter just love going to that daycare or even boarding for a few days. He always come back home excited and happy. The staff are all awesome with the dog and you can see they pay attention to details. They are always happy to answer any question or concern you might have . Dogs get plenty of play time which is great it give them the exercise they need. I would reccomend Mel's Waggin Tail Inn to everyone looking for a daycare for their precious dogs. My wife and I have been using Mel's Waggin Tail for the last year, hosting our 3 year old standard schnauzer, Lucy. The staff are always incredibly helpful, and it's evident how much care and attention goes into hosting their short term residents. They have hosted Lucy for both short and long term stays, spanning one evening stays, two evening stays, and as long as 10 evenings in one stay. Lucy is a wonderful dog, but she has been known to have a few trust issues and has sever separation anxiety. Throughout each stay, Mel's staff continued to provide support and guidance in how we could make her more comfortable, and continued to focus on making her stays as comfortable as possible. As each stay concluded, it was evident Lucy became more and more accustom to Mel's, and by the end of if she would lunge out of our car with excitement. We are sadly moving away from New Brunswick and I know that Lucy will miss all of the staff and her dog pals when we leave. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts to our good girl!!
