The owner of this shop (Boye) was my barber for over 10 years. Sadly, I moved to another city & province.However I have to say that had I not moved I would never think of going to any other barber or barbershop. Boye and his team are passionate & highly skilled in their craft. The atmosphere is very relaxed and their website makes it simple to book an appointment.Definitely recommended!

Jonathan was my favourite barber when I lived in Toronto. Always listens to what you want, has patience and never rushes you, makes subtle suggestions in his expert opinion, and always pulls off a great cut. I went from long hair, to mid length, to buzz cut. High fade, low fade, different styles, didn’t matter he did them all well.I came back to Toronto for my wedding and booked my haircut with him knowing it would be done perfectly. Whenever I’m back in Toronto I try and make the time to go get a haircut from him. Great barber! Highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Jon for over 5 years and he is a master of his craft. Always puts the clients needs first and wants to have you looking your best. He is amazing with the scissors and always gives good suggestions on how to style your hair. Highly recommend seeing Jon or any of the other talented barbers at Scars and Strops

Modern, clean, friendly team.10/10 recommendRechelle was my braider for getting my first ever box braids. Being her first time as well, we spent a full 7 hours of continuous braiding. They turned out wonderful & I couldn’t be happier.It’s been 3 weeks & they still look amazing.Thank you again for your time and patience with me. I have been going to Scars & Strops for just about 3 or so months and couldn’t be any happier. I go to Jonathan for my hair cuts and showed him a photo of what I wanted on the first visit. Now that I have had a cut from him about 3 or 4 times we finally reached the goal of the hair style that I wanted. They take their time and are very professional with their craft and client care. It takes me about 35 to 40 minutes drive each time I go and it is so worth it. I have gotten plenty of compliments ever since going to them. Thanks “Scars & Strops”! Johnson Neo :)

My son has been coming here with his uncle for a while now, this was the first time I brought him in, he saw Jackie. Jackie was very professional, honest and did a fantastic job getting my son grad photo ready. I will definitely recommend this shop, and Jackie.

First time that we went to this place vibe was great corv the barber asked me how I like my hair cut....and he exceeded what I was expecting details on the hair cut was unbelievable. Talk about attention to details. He was so nice that even though he was in a tight schedule he managed to squeeze in my son and gave him line ups and design! Definately coming back! It's a must. It's been a while since I got a hair cut like this!
