Had to port over from Brinks Home Security when Telus bought them out. Telus has been awful to deal with and reauthorizing my credit card has been a complete pain. Their call centre staff were rude and unhelpful. Only a few months left on my contract which I will ride out and cancel. Would not recommend.

Worst camera security system I’ve ever had. The cameras work maybe half the time and the doorbell camera has the image quality from the 90’s. Can’t wait until this contract is over and I’ll be buying my own camera system.*Update reply for Telus.We have called on several occasions and have had somebody come by and nothing has gotten better.

We signed a contract with them and had not used the service, even once, for almost two years. Usually, there is something that Telus could do, such as setting up a new service and transfer the remaining credit of the original contract, which was exactly what we were going to do. Not this time. Answer: well this is really ADT

We have used Acme to install video surveillance in 4 of our stores, We are in the process of relocating another store and asked for a quote on both the video but also the alarm system. They provided both quotes... the alarm system was more expensive and the monthly monitoring was double versus the other quotes.When we didn't accept the alarm quote we were told that they wouldn't do the re-installation of the video surveillance (cost $2,250.00) because that was a favour and we hadn't provided them with enough business over the years.I was very shocked by their attitude and would not recommend using them for your alarm or video surveillance needs.

As a Digital Marketing Consultant for businesses I'm constantly visiting new businesses to introduce myself and our services. I'm amazed at how often I see the ACME Protective Systems logo on the front door of businesses as I see them more than anyone else. I've worked closely with some of their team for the past couple of years so I know the service they provide but the proof is in the pudding and when I see so many stickers on doors across the city I know for sure ACME is a great choice for security needs.

The absolute worst security program. Do not waste your time. I have escalated my problems with their escalation team 4 times in one week and I have still not heard back.The security system does not work properly.They will rob you of your time and money.

Telus security has most stressful service I have ever encountered, this company should be reviewed by BBB and shut down. The service, customer interaction, product is all below par. Telus uses ADT security which is an American company and is one of the worst home security companies in North America. They are recently asking customers to devolve personal information like bank information for no valid reason. They have ridiculous contracts and it’s almost impossible to reach some one who speaks understandable English. We have had their service for 5 months and we just only realized that we had zero service but they also had the wrong address at the same time. We are in a stressful fight with them just to find out what’s happening. No one seems to know any thing, so tired of dealing with them. I definitely can’t press this anymore on how bad this service is. Stay away. Look for other options.

Total lack of respect given to us as paying customers. We’ve had 3 appointments for service that have all been ignored. Trying to get help is impossible. You can’t contact anyone above the telephone help person who has no power at all. Now waiting for a reason for todays missed appointment

Having just started a family, I began to find myself more conscious of the safety of our home. We lived in a 2-story townhouse and a rash of break-ins in our neighbourhood spurred me to contact Jim with Acme. Jim came to our home to review the security situation. Before even discussing business, he gave us many tips on securing our home and deterring burglars, which we still follow today. Acme came and installed a monitored system and I immediately felt safer. Their staff were knowledgeable and friendly from the installer to the people in the monitoring center. Every experience I've had with them has been positive.We've since moved into a house and are in the process of having a new system put together by Acme. I've come to have great confidence in their process, systems and people, so I can highly recommend them for any security needs. I'd also like to single out Jim Hammersley for his knowledge, sense of humour and professionalism, he has been a great resource for our family's security needs.

After they acquired paladin home security service was none existent. There was no connection to my home for more than 30days and no one notified us. Took their customer service more than 5 days for WO call back to schedule, by then we've switched to a different company.STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT SOME REAL SECURITY
