Highly recommend chicken yakitori; it was served with fried coleslaw and steamed Rice and the Chicken thighs were crispy and juicy. Edamame is plain with a bit of salt and will have a chance to taste naturally tasty.

Good place for a la carte Japanese food on the Danforth. The menu is pretty comprehensive. I thought the kaarage was quite good but the Katsu was a little bland. The fish is quite nice and is better than AYCE places.

Such good food and drinks, we got the plum wine which is delicious. Their Unagi Don is perfect! Got dessert on the house as a nice surprise too. Amazing service, will be returning soon.

Tried Katsu's all-you-can-eat. There's no difference between their lunch and dinner ayce offering, and I'd say this was lunch quality at dinner prices. While they did have over 80 items on the menu, I've seen more at that price point and at a better quality level (though this wasn't bad).Usual suspects were on there - sushi, sashimi, rolls, grilled and deep fried good, Asian icecream desserts, etc. Freshness was ok, neither good or bad. Service was quick. I know people who like this place so maybe their regular offering is better.

I used to frequent this place a lot 10 years ago, and a few times occasionally post 2020. i went in yesterday with some friends and my kids, to my surprise this place has gone downhill drastically. the sushi quality was awful, the sashimi was warm and tasted sour. the rice was stale and tasted old. the maki’s honestly tasted like grocery store sushi at best. overall it was overpriced for the poor quality and i’m sad to say after going here for 10 years i will never return again.

This is our favourite Japanese restaurant on the Danforth. The quality and presentation of the food is always consistent and most enjoyable. Try it, you won't regret. Recently we have been using their takeout order service. This was initially due to the globally orchestrated naattzziiee like pandemic and more recently to mobility health issues. Excellent find !!

We ordered take out in the restaurant. The place didn't seem busy, yet they took over 30 mins to have our order ready (without any updates) which seemed totally inappropriate given how not busy they were.Food wasn't good either. Coming from Vancouver, where we enjoy fantastic sushi in a lot of places, this was just nowhere near. Most of it was very bland...

Beautiful, peaceful and large inner restaurant. Wonderfully decorated with a large live tree centerpiece.Staff prepare your food in a typical efficient backspace visible to customers. Many staff are around to assist you from front of house to seating and wait staff. They are very polite, friendly and warm. I watched a few interactions between staff and other tables and they made me smile.Extensive menu, everything you desire. Pictured is the Osaka Sushi Plate (59) and as standard comes with edamame, tea and miso. It was wonderful and easily fed my companion and myself. We received a complimentary gelatin and mango ice cream dessert as well (pictured)Highly recommend this serene sushi experience to any sushi lover for both quality, ambience and experience.
