The Fourth Lock
Just got back from wing night at The Fourth Lock. An absolute rip off. Probably the most pathetic chicken wings in Nova Scotia. Tiny little fried things that were tasteless. In hindsight I should have taken a picture. Regular price was $18!! Wing night promotion $12. In addition the place was noisy like a rock concert. Will never go back.

Interesting restaurant located in Fall River, Nova Scotia. Nice ambiance and the food is great. Large portions. There is outdoor dining on a large deck available in the summer months that has an excellent view of Lake Thomas. This area is under appreciated and has tremendous potential.A local restaurant that has it all and the service is the best. Free parking!

Not a long drive for us, and this is a wonderful restaurant!! We are not from Fall River but I have to say it is worth the drive!! Had a party of 10 and Everyone loved their food, the service was amazing (thanks Abra) and the setting is so relaxing. Will definitely be back. I would think the patio would be awesome in the summer!!!

This such a cute and quaint place! The rooms very very cozy and clean! The breakfast was a little lackluster but overall would def stay again!

The Fourth Lock
Showed up on a busy Sunday. They found us a seat on the deck, which was great . Then they sort of forgot about us . Took 20 minutes for them to come back and ask if we wanted drinks. There was no offer of a glass of water, it was 30 plus degrees out. Took another ten minutes to get our drinks. Ordered food at the same time drinks came. Food was prompt. Staff was friendly, food was tasty.

Quaint rooms with a nice common area and patio. Room was very small. 'breakfast' was an apple, muffin, and granola bar in a paper bag

What a wonderful local find. The food here is absolutely phenomenal. Such a wide ranging, creative menu. And absolutely delicious! Friendly service, wonderful cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Lots of lovely touches that made for an unforgettable evening out. Will definitely be back!

Introduced to this spot by neighbours. Our server was the owner, Jaro, a very interesting and funny host. He made recommendations and the food did not fail. We spent a great evening with good conversation and atmosphere. We made reservations again to see if we had been dreaming during our first visit. A worthwhile dining experience!

You will not be disappointed with The Fourth Lock. The food, drink, and hospitality is sublime! Their Sangria & Blackened Haddock is absolutely fantastic. Stop by as soon as possible and see for yourself! We will most absolutely be back again soon!!

There are only 2 main criteria for a good Bed and Breakfast- a good bed and a decent breakfast, both of which this place does not have.We've stayed at plenty of B&Bs, and this was probably the worst. The bed was the softest we've ever experienced- we both melted into the bed the moment we lay on it. The pillows were very flat and seemed over used. No shampoo, just body wash in the shower. No sound absorption at all, so was loud with the pub downstairs. No TV, but they did have decent WiFi. The breakfast" was a small paper bag with an apple
