This place was a lovely little shop. I was able to get two different things for a decent price and the guitars in there looked amazing, nice to see a family business as opposed to the big stores once in a while. I will definitely be going back for any stringed instrument maintenance or purchases.

Took in a Gibson SG standard to get a larger cutaway and bevel in order to have more fret access. Unbelievable craftsmanship; paint, pick gaurd and design makes the modification barely perceptible... until you pick it up! It shreds now! Set up is great and locking tuners were installed also!

Basone is as dishonest as they come. He likes to talk about how great his reputation is and then he plays games with his customers. I bought new machine heads from him for $80 + tax and he gave me $55 when I returned them unopened. He sold me a guitar that didn't work and the list goes on. My advice is to find another guitar shop for whatever you need.

You will find a good, honest and knowledgeable luthier here. So kind, friendly and willing to help. I had an issue with one of my instruments and I called for a quote. What I got was a lot of great advice about how I could fix it myself. I made the repairs and only had to wait for the glue to dry before I was playing again. I couldn't be happier. Basone Guitars is the best in town! You won't be disappointed.

STAY AWAY from Chris Basone.I dropped off my guitar after he promised a 3 day turnaround. After not hearing back in 3 days, I tried contacting him with no responses for weeks. No e-mail, phone, text, nothing. I finally sent a text saying I was going to the police to report a theft & he responded in 30 seconds claiming he was sick, lost his phone, was busy etc. I told him I was coming by his house to pick up my guitar & if he wasn't there I would call the police from his front door. I arrived & he finally handed over my guitar barely able to stand & slurring his speech. Maybe he was a good luthier in the past, but he has an obvious substance abuse problem now. Stay away of you value your guitars.

I took my old guitar in for repair. When I got it back I realized that the gentleman who fixed it was actually some kind of guitar-artist-super-mega-action-hero, which is to say that he did a brilliant job. Great work, and excellent customer service. A truly magical guitar shop.GO NOW!

Excellent space with amazing people. Prices are very fair, and they always go above and beyond with product quality and repair. Even if you don’t live close, it is definitely worth the trip!
