Grape Escape Rooms

We booked this escape room as a last minute weekend idea, and we’re pleasantly surprised that there was plenty of availability! Walking into this escape room we were immediately greeted by the most friendly staff - Lexi the office pup (of course Richard is also friendly too).We booked to do The Barbershop room and had a blast. We are experienced escape room enthusiasts, having tried many of the rooms from the GTA, and Hamilton areas. The Barber Shop would be easy enough for someone new to come in and have a good time (whether they got out or not) but is still intriguing and fun for someone who has seen a lot of rooms. We were a group of two and escaped with a little over 15 minutes left on the clock.The puzzles were fun to solve and challenges you in a variety of ways. The story and theme of the room was fluent, exciting and immersive.We ended up jumping into the second room which was a truly unique experience. Jailbreak - Drunk Tank was a 1v1 escape room - competing not agains the clock but against your friend.Richard has clearly thought about these rooms and planned them carefully. We cannot recommend checking them out enough!

Came for a girl's weekend, there were 5 of us, majority had not done an escape room before. It was so much fun! We all had a great time and Gaz was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this as a to do" when in the area!"

Fantastic escape room! We booked on a whim while on a getaway in the area because we love escape rooms. Richard was an incredibly friendly and helpful host that explained the game smoothly and provided us with a great experience. The escape room upstairs is a pleasant surprise as a Barber Shop theme and it was one of the more difficult ones we’ve done so far with an intriguing back story and a variety of extensive puzzles to solve. 10/10 recommend as an escape room experience for groups and couples.

This was my first time doing an escape room....it was so much fun....we were 4 people and it was definatly a challenge. I would recomend this as a must do fun event to go to while in Niagara-on -the-lake. Everyone at this place was great to deal with....we had a blast!!!!!

Would highly recommend this escape room as a fun thing to do in Niagara on the lake when you wanna take a break from drinking wine! We had 6 people - few of us had never done one, and few of us are avid escape room-ers! We all had such a blast. Great balance of technical & physical puzzles. Really cool theme and setup too! Not to mention, amazing service all around. Thanks guys!!

My partner and I escaped from the Barbershop escape room and we both really enjoyed ourselves. It was pretty tough in spots and a lot of cool puzzles/clues we hadn’t seen before. Lots of fun! You won’t be disappointed! Atmosphere at Grape Escapes is super chill and the host was very welcoming!

The wife and I decided to try our first escape room experience, and boy did this place not disappoint. The puzzles were really fun and really had us thinking. It was the most fun we could have on a rainy night. The owner was amazing and we can not wait to come back to try the other challange. Thank you so much for letting us in on a Tuesday night when you were not even open.
