LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

This is my neighborhood LifeLabs which I visit when I get a requisition from doctor. You need to book an appointment though. After booking and showing up I've never had a problem and their staff is polite and efficient. One of the staff even warned me that one test would incur a triple figure fee because doctor didn't specify a diagnosis. Thank you.

I’ve never had to make an appointment in the past to use lifelabs, not until AFTER the doors open does someone state that I needed an appointment, AFTER waiting in line for more than 40 minutes outside. Garbage customer service.

In & out within 7mins. Efficient and nice front desk staff and lab tech Peter. Made an appointment in the morning for the afternoon, arrived on time and got called in right away. Blood drawn in less than a minute and got to leave right away.

This is the location I normally go to and they're normally pretty good at their job but have always not been very good with people.This time, the person who is at the front doing registration is extremely rude. She's been yelling at everyone, dismissing and disregarding everybody's needs and questions. I understand it's a really stressful time but she should not be putting it out on patients. I have already wrote a complaint to LifeLabs about this. My entire experience today has been so uncomfortable. This is an essential location to this community which serves older Asian folks. The staff at this location have no patience and compassion.If you can avoid this location, go somewhere else. I've heard way better things about other locations.

An unprofessional lab! Despite booking a confirmed appointment two weeks ahead online, this location has absolutely no way of segregating those with appointments and walk-ins. I reached on time for my appointment, and waited since people had randomly queued up and there was no staff or signboard to indicate who should queue up where. Apparently everyone had to stand in the same check-in line which circled the block and beyond, whether you have an appointment or not! Is there a better way to catch covid-19 in these uncertain times? I finally found staff inside the lab, told her I had an appointment. She barely heard me and herded me outside saying 'someone would come to get me'. There was no mention of what to do, should I wait in line? Should I queue up? If I need queue up which line do I need to queue up in? After waiting for 30 minutes I left, since there was no clarity about what to do. Random walk ins and people with Save My Spot get seen at the same time as those who've booked well in advance. Why do they bother giving appointment times online when they have absolutely no control of their systems? I wasted a Saturday morning despite planning ahead and booking. Don't bother going through this waste of time with or without an appointment and if you must, be sure you are there with a couple of hours to spare.

Only good thing is they managed to take me in earlier before my scheduled appointment time. Not very friendly receptionists, and the lab tech who administered my blood test was extremely rude and made some rude comments about folks who don’t particularly enjoy getting blood tests done. I highly don’t recommend making an appointment at this lifelabs, such unpleasant interactions with staff.

Going out of my way to review. I watched the front desk lady yell at 3 people for not having appointments. From the sounds of it, none of them knew to have an appointment. I didn’t have an appointment because my doc told me to walk into any life labs. I know it probably frustrating to have the same thing happen over and over, but yelling at people cuz they don’t know isn’t really acceptable.She also berated me for washing off my urine test before giving it to her. Sorry, next time I’ll hand it to you covered in my pee.

Have gone here to get bloodwork done three times now and I've never experienced any issues. Show up five to ten minutes before my appointment, sign in with the person at the door, get seated inside, and wait. Procedure's always painless, and the staff are always friendly - provided you are following instructions. Just make their job, and your day, easier, and book an appointment online.I do notice that a lot of people are ignoring clear instructions that you NEED an appointment; a LOT of people arguing with the person at the front about not having an appointment for no result other than wasting time. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the majority of the complaints here.It's not their job to make sure you aren't being irresponsible and crowding around the front. Exercise some personal responsibility, people.

I understand the situation when you have to handle more than 1000 customers in one day. So i understand the situation front lady who is doing the registration.These days are difficult for everyone. Medical line people are doing their best to treat us.I would definitely recommend this place for everyone.
