Terra Nova Hospitality Cabins

Stay was excellent. Got charged an extra night stay when I had clearly cancelled more than seven days prior to stay. Still waiting on refund from four months ago. Good people but not happy with the way they handle refunds. I will not stay here just for that reasons. I had documentation on the day I called for cancellation but they did not write it down. Guess I am SOL on this one. Have fun with your extra income and my loss.

Stayed July 2019, we stayed in the older cabins and this may have been a mistake as the newer offerings appear to be much better equipped for comfort then the older . The whole cabin is furnished with pieces from here and there with an over all bricked-brac feel. The beds and bedding are old and very low quality offering the worst night sleep. There is no worry of getting a comfortable bed, they are not here. Sleeping through the night was a challenge as soon as the sun came up the bedroom was filled with light , this has a certain charm no doubt, however it would be nice to be able to close the drapes too enjoy another hour or two of sleep. We would have closed the drapes but there were none just a plastic blind offering no help in keeping the room dark. The beds and bedroom was something you would see at a kids camp , This is not what adult travellers would expect. At nearly 200 per night including tax its not worth it. If you have to stay here insist on the Newer cabin offering. This visit did nothing to encourage me to stay here again.

Great place to stay. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our large group.I left my wallet in my room and they actually managed to get it brought down into town for me.I would highly recommend this place. We were very happy with the rooms and services provided and would definitely come back again.

Absolutely the best travel experience ever. Highly recommend it to anyone travelling to NFLD. The most amazing hosts who made us feel so welcome. Can hardly wait to go back!

The cabins are very clean and well stocked! The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable of the area! Kathy and Jim are excellent hosts! Will definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Newfoundland!

The cottages were clean and spacious everything you needed to cook and relax with was there. Everything about the grounds and facilities felt clean well managed, highly recommend.

I would highly recomennd, very friendly staff, clean, no hidden fees or extra costs,relaxing and fun accomendations were exactly what we wanted, children had a great time and are still asking, can we go again...2 thumbs up...

Fantastic, clean, spacious and wonderful area. The people, staff and others on site were like family. Everything you needed to cook, be comfortable, enjoy your stay was provided. There was a lovely pool and playground for the kids, and a fire pit to enjoy in the evening. Each cabin had its own BBQ as well. There were even chairs outside so you can enjoy the tranquility of the area! Loved every bit of it. So did hubby, he golfed at Terra Nova and Hatchet Cove.

Our experience at Terra Nova Cottages this past weekend was fantastic. A group of us travelled there to do a guided skidoo trip lead by Jim and Cathy the owners. Everything about the weekend was exceptional from the accommodations to the weather to the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. This place has so much to offer and is in such an excellent location to access trails plus so much more. The rates for the cottages are very reasonable and the cottages are spotless. We are already planning to return for another weekend as soon as we can.

My family hosted a family reunion here and it was such a beautiful place! I would definitely return here for another stay. :)
