Palgrave Forest and Wildlife Area Parking

Great place for a hike. Lots of route variations. We went at 1pm on a Saturday and it was really hard to find parking. But the trails weren't busy or crowded. Keep in mind there are a lot of bikers on these trails. For the most park the pink and purple trails (see map on site) are great for pedestrians. If you go on the yellow trail, you'll encounter plenty of bikers.

Trails are decent, a lot pinecones and sand though so watch out. And look out for the bear droppings littered throughout the forest.

Beautiful place to bike it hike if your in the area

I hiked here on Sunday May 30, 2021. I originally went to the labelled parking spot but it was completely full- so I drove about 4 minutes to a different roadside location and parked there instead. I posted a picture of the pin I made for the roadside parking where I parked on Duffy’s Lane. I did a loop of 4.9 km (I posted images from my Apple Watch) and it was gorgeous! Lots of bikers & lots of families on the trail. Next time I go here I will plan out a longer hike day because there were so many trails within the conservation area! I would not consider this a difficult place to hike, perfect for any hiker level.
