Super friendly staff, neat and organized, and able to do my key cut super quick :DI'd called them over the phone first to confirm if they'd be able to do a key cut on a mail box key. The Home Depot (near Bur Oak & Markham Rd.) and the Canadian Tire (near Woodbine & Major Mackenzie) both didn't possess the blanks to do the cut. Nowadays, it's because automatic key cut machines are used to save time (which isn't a fault of the associates), but it also means it can be difficult to cut keys that need to be cut on both sides of the edge (like the mailbox key from Canada Post I needed to cut).The gentleman who helped me did the key by freehand and I'm happy to say it worked! Even if it didn't end up working, though, I feel comfortable saying that they would've done a new cut had I brought in the receipt.

Home Hardware stores are my go to, for stuff I may need help with or just because it's easy to get in find what you want and leave.Good old fashioned customer service hasn't been forgotten here. They try to help if you ask and they will even special order products for you. In my case within a week and reasonably priced.The Home Hardware stores remind this 66 year old of the helpful stores of my youth. They have also managed to stock a surprising number of products into an efficiently designed store.Definitely worth the time to visit.

Door staff were very friendly especially the girl who took care of my big heavy order who also asked if I needed help carrying out to my car. Another staff member also asked if I was being helped so they're very attentive. Took a bit of time to get my heavy order out but nothing I could handle. Thanks again!

Friendly, courteous, good products and knowledgeable staffs also unexpectedly will cut a transponder key for me without hassle and asking not even that the price cutting transponder key is very cheap not did I know you can' get a competitor somewhere else. Morally, it isn't coming up cheating customer at all

I really want to like this store...Unfortunately, the service I received was very poor. I placed an order online for in-store pick up on Dec 11. Received an email stating that the item was available for pick-up on Dec 13. Went into the store the day after and was told that the item was not available and that I should only come in if I receive a call from the store. I waited and waited and never got a call. I then received an email on Jan 6 saying that my order was picked up (it was not me who picked it up). I called in to find out what happened with this order and the associates were indifferent to the matter and no sincere apology was given.I do not recommend this store at all due to the poor service and will not be going back.

I love going to the Home Hardware in Markham. The store has everything including great customer service. All of the staff are amazing, but my favourite person is Doc. He is such a knowledgeable, kind, caring person.

Came for a special, found plenty in stock. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent customer experience.

Went to pick up some charcoal for the bbq. The people in the store were very helpful, approached me to offer help. They even offered to help load up the charcoal to avoid getting dirty.
