Called to enquire about replacing the battery in a much loved watch that had stopped. My husband took it down to the workshop about an hour later and it was fixed on the spot in 2 minutes. Lovely friendly gentleman, first class service and extremely reasonable cost. Thanks so much!

My Father introduced me to him when he took his watches to be mended,and mantle clocks. And I've used him 4 times and now my son has been there. He is fantastic, knows everything about watches. You should always go if you have a problem or just a simple watch strap adjustment.

Clive is a genuine artisan watchmaker whose skill and knowledge is second to none. I would not take my various vintage mechanical Omega watches anywhere else. His work and attention to detail is faultless.....and he's a really nice guy to deal with.

100% recommended. Competitively priced and efficient turnaround. My Raymond Weil watch now runs perfectly after being serviced and spring replaced. Will definitely come back when other watches need servicing.

Excellent service and price. High street jeweller advised Seiko would probably charge £200-£250, Clive fixed it for less than £30. He also advised not to spend more than that given the age and original value of the watch. The watch was left with Clive as a part was required and it was available for collection within 2 weeks. Highly recommend Clive for customer service, knowledge and price.

My wristwatch had ceased working, the battery had not been replaced for 3 years. Francis and Gaye fitted the previous one at a considerable amount and I had to go back sometime later to collect. Fortunately I saw C A James on the website, gave him a call, popped round and he fixed it in less than 5 minutes! I had a very enjoyable chat with Clive about cars and motor bikes and only wished i had known him years ago. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.
