The WORST hair salon experience I have ever had!! I got a junior hair stylest color my hair, before she got started I made sure to let her know I wanted a honey blonde, when she finished she asked if i wanted to have it dry but i didnt even bother with it as I have curly hair and prefer it to let it air dry. Few hours later when I got home I looked at my hair and it was orange I panicked and called her back I said I needed it fixed she had no problem with it. When i went back I showed her a picture just so she could understand me better, FOUR HOURS later and with some help from the useless manager my hair is completely damaged I mean HANDS FULL OF HAIR coming out and the color close to nothing different than before and nothing like the picture. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED this people don't care if you go home bold. I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Love Changes! Both me and my mum go to Emma, she is the best ( especially if you are looking for someone good with blondes)! The salon is always clean, good tunes, the nicest gals, good product selection and convenient location.

I went to Changes, to see Izzy, for the first time yesterday and had an awesome experience and plan to continue to see her as my regular stylist! She patiently listened when I gave her my hair history and gave great advice on my cut/colour. She was also so precise with my cut ( an inverted bob). Futhermore, I had a service done at another salon called KODE (smoothing treatment) a month prior so, she used a piece of my cut hair to do a strand test before discussing safe colouring options and also told me she looked up that treatment before she saw me for my appointment - her care and professionalism are very impressive! It also helps that she is friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you Izzy and Changes!

They sure do not act like a high end salon that they claim to be. My hair dresser spent a lot of time telling me she worked in a very high end salon making lots of money before moving here yet I sure wasn't treated like a high end client. I was supposedly paying for an Avada experience which I never got. My dress was soaked after she washed my hair and she hardly even washed it. My ears were filled with water. I told her to go shorter in certain areas and she did not listen so now I have to fork out more money for another hair cut. I had hair everywhere even on my face as she did not even blow dry it off at the end and I asked her to but she never heard me as she was to busy already at the front counter while I was still in the chair. Yes she just decided she was done, ripped off the cape and left. I know she was behind as she was running late when I got there and finally took me 20 minutes after my appointment time and her next client came early and was waiting but we weren't finished. She just rushed everything. Every time I have gone there this seems to be a theme where the service is terrible, they really need to work on that and step up there game. As other reviews have said the manger and owner are useless and very unfriendly. I've been treated much better at $20 hair cuts. Don't waste your time on this hype!

January 21st, I phoned around to a few places looking to make an appointment for a haircut. Granted it was 3:15 PM and a lot of places were closing at 5 P.M.and I understand that they were busy all day and could not accommodate me. I had no luck until of course I decided to phone Changes Salon up in Aberdeen. A woman named Erin answered the phone and she was incredibly happy incredibly helpful and very polite. I have never been to this Hair Salon for a cut before and I will definitely keep you posted. The reason why I'm writing this review is i wanted to share my wonderful experience with a busy but kind person. That will definitely get my businessand many more people's business. . I will be doing a review Friday January 27 th after my much needed haircut.For the 1st time ever going into a Hair Salon I was offered a beverage at Changes. So I opted for a delicious cup of coffee which was offered to me by Eryn. After a very short wait, my hairdresser Diamond came over introduced herself and we both went to her hairdressing chair together. I needed a haircut badly and we agreed on cutting 8 off of my hair and we added some layers. Diamond listened to every word I said she is an absolutely amazing hairdresser. She she did a dry cut which I haven't had happen for a while and I was and am very impressed. She is my permanent hairdresser and I will be going back to her as frequent as necessary. I have never been treated so wonderfully in a Hair Salon in all my life. The energy there from all of the hairdressers was wonderful. The Hair Salon is very clean and has lots of products to offer. I incredibly highly recommend changes."

Lovely hair salon with great staff! I went to see Kayla today and she did such an awesome job. Perfect cut and colour. I will definitely be coming back :)

For any one out there looking for someone who does a good blonde (IYKYK) do yourself a favor and book in with Kayla. I recently moved from Vancouver and have been searching for a new stylist. I asked a friend of mine who lives in Kelowna and she told me all her friends go to Kayla. I called the salon they told me to, ready to drive down to Kelowna for all my future hair appointments, only to find out Kayla had recently moved to kamloops and was working at Changes! I have never found someone this good at colouring my hair, she does the most natural looking balayage and has figured out how to tone my hair perfectly (usually it's too ash or too gold but evens out eventually).10/10, highly recommend.

Oh my goodness! I was a returning client to Changes, but my previous stylist had left. After doing some research, I booked in with Kayla and I am so glad I did! I've never been treated so professionally at a salon. She asked lots of question to help me narrow down exactly what I was looking for. Additionally, she provided some great advice on how to care for my hair between visits. She achieved such a beautiful balayage on me, with lots of dimension and helped cut my hair without losing too much length. She's very kind and exceptional at what she does and I will for sure recommend her to everyone! Thanks Kayla :)
