A wonderful church and the people who work and supervise it are very nice people, and twice a month there is a soup kitchen for the poor people of Chatham, this church is always helping all the people in need.

Father Matt is probably the best pastor I've seen with the church in the last 25 years. He's charismatic and very active in the community. The church itself is a large building but still can end up in situations of standing room only when it comes to holidays like Christmas and Easter.

Didn't find it to be a very friendly community at all. I attended St. Ursula's for well over 25yrs, back when Father Divine was the pastor. It went from a loving, vibrant community full of faith, love, and worship, to a gossip hall of inflated egos, power trips, internal infighting and bickering, and angry parishioners (myself included), many of whom left after the Father Vere fiasco (who arguably destroyed this parish--but that's another story for another time). Then the came the infamous sex abuse scandal that rocked the Diocese, courtesy of the late sicko, Father Charlie Sylvestre, or Father Feeler" has he was aptly known to the girls in the school playground. A man with a long history of predatory abuse and alcoholism

Sunday Mass is well-attended (10am). Confessions 6-6:45 on Tuesdays. The church is open during office hours for prayer. I highly recommend taking advantage of it.
