Really nice and flavorful food. The myth that “Indian food is always spicy” is being addressed here.There dishes are really tasty and aromatic. The food is much closer to the authentic Indian cuisine than what is being served by the masses in Canada.One of the dishes we ordered “Shaam Savera” was awesome. Unlike most of the other places, the velvety tomato gravy in the dish was super light and didn’t taste like a mixture of heavy cream and butter.We would definitely go back.

Visited TYC today after many trusted recommendations and I must say... they did not disappoint! The food was unbelievable. The veg mix and frontier mix platters allowed us to try many things from their menu and keep everyone happy. The food reminded me of restaurants in India while staying in Oakville. Will definitely be returning!

For me this is one of the best Indian restaurants in GTA and definitely the best in The townCozy and cleanThe food is authentic Indian and very tastyThe staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is greatWe also ordered online once and they were very fast

First time eating here, top notch food. Everything we got was fantastic. I wasn't a fan of the stuffed mushrooms but my girlfriend loved them. The soup had so much flavor, the rogan josh was perfect. The dishes are staggered and don't come out all at once. It would be a bit overwhelming if they did.Wouldn't call the prices expensive but definitely in line with the area. Our bill was about $125 without an alcohol. That being said, it's the best Indian food in Oakville hands down, though competition is thin. I'll definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes.

It was my first time at TYC OAKVILLE location and I had to leave a review because I was very impressed with the service. I have an allergy and I mentioned it to the waitress just to be safe, and then the manager on that night came over and he assured me that they would be very careful and made sure my food did not come into contact with any nut products.( which has never happened to me with any restaurant). Also the waitress was very attentive and checked on us regularly. Had to give a good review !

Unusual dishes, delicious food, vegetarian options. I was a little worried when I realised that this is a celebrity chef, and the conference-style banner is uninspiring, but the food was solidly good, dishes were nicely differentiated, there were things on the menu that aren't found in our usual favourite Indian (like aloo methi and several chaats; the stuffed kulcha was also good). Kind and thoughtful service. A few reviews here say the food is a bit spicier than usual for Ontario tastes and I think that's true, but not by much. We didn't ask for things to be toned down and it was all fine. Nice ambience, warm and cozy. More expensive than my usual place too but I think worth it - appetizers and mains with drinks for 4 hungry vegetarians was $160. Would go again.

I went with a girlfriend on a weekday night with high expectations (based on the reviews that I had seen). They EXCEEDED on all levels.This is by far the best Indian restaurant that I have been to in years. Every dish was an explosion of unique and exquisite flavours.I will be back again and again

Had such an amazing experience. Waitress was unbelievably friendly. Food was amazing and delicious. I came with my parents for their anniversary and waitress was kind enough to bring a free dessert. Had such an amazing experience, we will definitely be back!

We entered at 8:00 and the place closes at 9. The chef and a young lady waiter were kind and served us well.One of the waiters though, instead of seating us and taking out order, just excitedly said they were closing at 8:20. We were disappointed by this and decided to take the food home. Three stars as the food was good and the Chef and waitress were kind. Will visit again. Hope to see better service next time.
