Mini-tune Lawn & Landscape Depot

Brought my B&S 6.75 self propelled from Sears here. I needed a tune up because the motor was revving up and down by itself. They gave it a once over for a fair price. Front and shop staff were genuine and polite. Keep up the good work, mini tune!

Not surprised at all to see the bad reviews. When we dropped off our mower they told us it would be ready in a week. Seven days later they said to give them 10 days as their technician was away on vacation (they never mentioned this at the beginning). When I called 14 days later they were still trying to delay. And when I pointed out that these repeated delays were a problem the receptionist became annoyed, kept interrupting me, and told me I could come pick up my mower if I wanted to. I went the same day to pick it up to find they had fixed it after my call. You shouldn’t have to complain to get service.And notice they respond rudely to negative reviews. Save yourself a headache - Lambert Distributing is more reliable.

I've gone to Mini Tune for several years now, even when they were located over by Prairieland Park. They've gone through some changes but still provide great sales and service.My uncle owned a lawnmower shop that I visited often when I was a little boy. Some of the sights and sounds from Mini Tune seem to be lifted right from there. They know their craft and their industry well and provide good service at reasonable prices. And they're friendly! This fact all by itself is worth a lot these days.Highly recommend for small engine parts and repairs, as well as new sales.

First time I went there, I Didn’t like it. Tried it again cause they had the part I needed and again I didn’t like it. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, from the worker and the manager. Such an unwillingness to help and talk to. If you can, shop somewhere else.

This is an absolute horrendous place to deal with! The staff are rude and very ignorant. My son came to pick up his weed Wacker which had been repaired! He had been given a price over the phone for thw repairs the day before, but when he arrived the price had gone up!! When he asked why the price was different he was told this is the price you either want the weed Wacker back or you don't!! My son has a registered disability and verbal dispraxia, he is unable to fully communicate, although in this situation he tired his best only to be spoken to like a complete bit of dirt from the female employee behind the counter!There was a male employee there who kept making good bye signals with his hands in my sons face!! My son tried to speak to him but all he would do is wave his hands in his face without making any attempt to speak!! This is wrong on so many levels!! Needless to say we will never use mini tune again and nor would we recommend it!! As a side note, had I been there with my son this would have been a whole lot different situation!! I do not tolerate rudness or ignorant jumped up people very well!!

This shop is no good try to sell there stuffs more than repair or turn up your machines . Be careful when you come there

I had some work done on a 31 hp Briggs that sits in an enclosed compartment on my work truck. Spark plugs were changed at this time.Started the motor recently and there was a huge backfire and the motor was running on one cylinder. Further inspection revealed the spark plug was blown out of the motor. Wondered why the threads wouldnt have been damaged. Put plug back in and motor ran fine. Checked other plug and it was also loose. Motor ran for about 3 hours and then it blew. Basically they hadnt tightened the plugs and it took 5 months for them to work their way out. Cant prove that this backfire damaged the motor and caused it to fail but it is quite a coincidence.At very least they should be able to change spark plugs properly. Response from Minitune was that they would tell their mechanic to be more careful. Not a response that impressed me.I am now replying to owners response.You actually only said that you would tell your mechanic to be more careful. If I am mistaken and you are willing to reimburse me for some of my expenses incurred do to this fiasco I will gladly admit my mistake and post a glowing review saying that this was a mistake and that you stand behind your work.If you dont see a follow up review from me you can draw your own conclusions.

Was a little hesitant to go here but a quick call later I stopped in to get some parts and I am glad I did. Professional, courteous and very knowledgeable staff. they had all the parts I required for one of my lawn tractors, and could order the parts for the other (that I have had no luck finding on my own).If you had problems here I am more inclined to think it was an off day.Thanks alot to the staff here, hats off to you.
